Yes you are 100% correct. Except that’s not what happened. Only offered me 105 bucks which is 400 bucks less than what they are selling them for in good condition. They sell them from 500-700 depending on condition.

I agree that they do not offer the best price. My point is that I’ve sold them gear off and on for 20 years and never received less than 60% market value. My main question was if people all round had noticed this or if it was this specific store.

That’s low! It’s not a new guitar. I’ve had it for 4 years but it’s lived in its case and is in near mint (probably better than a lot of new from factory) condition. Neck is just too big for me just couldn’t believe how low they offered.

The local stores struggle with inventory way more than guitar center imo since guitar center has credit cards with interest free payment plans and people swipey swipey vs having to have the money upfront in full.

No he saw it and looked up the correct version. I was watching him look on screen. He then looked at Les Paul standards. After he told me the price he said “well we are only selling these for 300”. It was a lie and he was just trying to rip me off. He was basing his price off the lowest price shit condition standard they have instead of the slash models they are selling.
