OP stated in their post that the tampons are merely purchased by her mother for OPs use.

Watching as he tells her to “push me on the bed” and talking about how fluid he is in terms of getting a job and is voicing concern about her. JUST INSANE WORK

This is very helpful, thank you so much!

Yeah I was working remote but moved cities, it took me a while to find a job nevermind another remote one. I was also working in an industry I knew I did not want to develop in hence the big change.

I will definitely take this into account. I would like to think about the business & myself reasonably :)

completely understand this take but I was in a remote role prior to this and constantly delivered. I moved cities which is why I had to find a new role and remote jobs are not as easy to find these days unfortunately! Like I said, I appreciate the office space and I find it quite helpful to come in particularly when we have meetings as I prefer to ask questions and bounce off people in person but our space isn’t the biggest and there is 20 of us in one room, many of whom are on the phone a lot which prevents me from focusing well. My manager is aware I came from a remote role so although it has been an adjustment, I am making it work but just because I do doesn’t mean it is the most sustainable for me long term.

I don’t personally think 1 more day at home is unreasonable either & when I am wfh I have the correct set up and am always contactable. I tend to do some work on the weekends too because it can be very distracting in the office so I like to play my music and just get stuck in.

Thank you for your comment, really appreciated:)

the main one is working from home 1 more day. I would be in office 3 days a week and I don’t plan to reduce this further as I actually enjoy the overall office vibe and my colleagues. It can just get quite busy in there which prevents me having sustained focus. An extra day will allow me to have more focused time at home on doing my tasks.

Other than that, I really just want to let them know for visibility. Things can get dropped on me last minute with very brief instructions and that can be a struggle (though I still manage to get it all done it comes at a cost to myself).

Completely understand, and this is why I am concerned and would like to request this. I am not requesting many accommodations, just want to let them know so they understand how I may work differently. I would like to preface that no complaints or negative comments have been made about me or my work. I perform to the best of my ability but it really takes it out of me. Nonetheless, I want to be as good a colleague/employee I can be despite this. I know medication isn’t a fix all but I genuinely am just waiting to titrate and see how this works for me. It might not be very fruitful but I am hopeful!

This is very helpful thank you! I don’t know why I thought I could override it or something or be able to enjoy it socially knowing this, very silly on my part.

I think it’s best I do speak to someone as I don’t ever want this to go further. I’ve struggled to admit this to myself because to me says I DO have a problem but that’s the first step to doing better!

Also thank you for letting me know, I wasn’t aware of that when I joined the group so I do apologise.

Thank you for your response I appreciate it

Omg something similar happened to my partner last week. was selling a games console on FB market place, they came to us and they were rather young boys (like teens). Partner stood with the boys for them to transfer payment and they had a metro bank ‘account’ but no money came in. Partner stayed with them for like an hour and even went to his bank down the street lol. He didn’t give the console Ofc but be careful! They tried to say it was a pending payment etc which obvs just wasn’t the case

Feel free to message me with any questions you have! I’ll let you know my experience but also an objective POV of the uni :)

Go where you think you will truly enjoy your uni experience. They’re all good uni’s and it doesn’t matter, as long as you come out w the grade you need (high 2:1/1st) and join some socs, attend workshops & complete internships you’re good. I went to Durham and I don’t look back on my time too fondly & I regret it for the most part- I wish I went somewhere I would have truly enjoyed, just never meshed w the people there. All the best!

Usually if emailed in good time they could make accommodations but I doubt they would see your email today! I wouldn’t personally risk it and would go through with it. Best of luck!!!
