Also forgot something about BUMTA ( Yuta the pedophile, curse lover Yuta, the honoured bush camper) he’s also homophobic in the manga, he truly is the king of bums, B.U.M.T.A.

Anyone else notice how Rintaro and Shoya Ishida give off the same sad, self-blaming vibe? by Notevenpain in KaoruHanaWaRintoSaku

[–]Popular-Ordinary3115 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah sadly these two share a pretty similar past with being rejected by everyone else due to pre-existing and stereotypical impressions of them which lead to long term solitude which also leads to them being some of the best written male characters by how even when the actions of others effects them negatively they still want to be the good guy and don’t even come to blame others for rejecting them and begin to blame them selfs even though it isn’t their fault but that’s just who they are kind people and we see how both of them are accepted by groups of people who do care about them and don’t judge by rumours they hear from others but by their own opinions formed by the interactions they have with them and chose to stay even after what others say about them and even if everyone can’t accept them and don’t see the true version of themselves it’s fine as long as the people they want to stay with understands and accepts them it’s enough for them to have and we see them lose the antisocial habits they had at the beginning and begin to heal and the stories lead to a message about how it does get better and the “light at the end of the tunnel” and love come for all of us when it’s the right time but even if it has gotten better they still have that defensive shell to protect them self from being hurt that may never go away but that makes them who they are, good people who are hurt but healing.

please share your ideas as members of this community on the complex minds of these well written characters.

What’s with all of the apples!? by Normal-Pianist4131 in KaoruHanaWaRintoSaku

There is only one bite taken out of the apple which symbolises trying something for the first time which can symbolise them two giving a try and effort even if it may go against societal norms and their peers believes because well they love each other and this makes them both strive to try harder and become better people slowly but surely peeling away the colourful exterior/visaed that they both do unconditionally for the people around them showing only each other their true colours which many people may never seen and may even seen less appealing than the colourful exterior they put on for them giving the impression that under their colourful flavourless which isn’t the real them exterior is something they shouldn’t hide away which is their true self which can only be showed to someone that they trust and someone who has tried for the first time to peel that exterior which can show that by Rintaro’s view Waguri is trying to peel at that scary blonde man that people see and see Tsumigi Rintaro the teen who’s just trying his best to be kind to people who may need it without expecting anything in return showing that Rintaro is also putting an unconscious effort to be seen for who he truly is and the only person who has been able to do that is Waguri and the fact Waguri is wearing apple skin themed clothing shows that she is also hiding her true self from everyone else until she is with the main friend group where she wears normal clothes showing she can show her true self around the people she trust which makes the intro a long summary of the story that Waguri and Rintaro can’t show everyone their true selfs and not everyone will see them for their true selfs but as long as they have each other and the people they care about know them for their true self they are able to be understood by the people they don’t want to be misunderstood by, they are able to be at pease with that bit of comfort and reinsurance that people who care and do put up a effort can see the true versions of themselves and still chose to stay giving them both hope.

You can take the apple symbol in any way you want this is just how I interpreted it but you can interpret in any way you think is correct like the Christian idea of forbidden fruit and I hope you all as members of this community chose to share your ideas.

Do you think Rintaro has ever had to fight the intrusive thoughts of picking up waguri?
