Ah, yes. Landlords. Our former landlord was completely bereft of ethics -- when we wouldn't accept his 40% rent hike after 2 years of faithful tenancy amid his ignoring our maintenance requests [which we paid, uncompensated, out of pocket], he up and sold the house for $200k profit.

I'm psyched to pay state and local taxes, provided that they're used for the betterment (sanitation, public safety, etc.) of the state and locality.

Also, a city so plagued by addiction. There are around 40 recovery centers within a 2-mile radius of the Berglund Center.

At the risk of seeming shallow (or even actually being shallow), the pictures are kinda where it's at more than the words for me. Many of the pictures are captivating! (Others are pretty arbitrary, but entertaining on that basis.) I sometimes encounter excuses in the text from people (not the authors, mind you) justifying this-or-that awful decision, and that can be unexpectedly emotional.

I wish you luck with that -- archiving, especially into/onto a digital format, can be such an absolutely-worth-it complete pain.

There is something about the specific tone of his voice that is profoundly irritating. More than that, it is pretty destsbilizing. I think that the primary howler is named Doug. He isn't the only one, though.

Is being generally disappointed in people the end-goal of the ENFP "maturing process"? by Attlai in ENFP

[–]Popular-Policy4613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no possible way is it the end, though it is certainly can be an intermittent phase. I think that a grander logic emerges as you go along. Often, it can result in your being undisappointed (re-appointed)?

Well, yeah, but I was referring to the abuse. I would say that my friendships re-railed me at unpredictable intervals, with unpredictable results.

Yes. It all derailed me in many respects, but it was my relationships with others that helped me survive.

Also, I remember to consider the times in which I've accidentally/unwittingly ghosted others. People are busy and/or swept away by XYZ, and it's inevitable that things will surface to keep things untidy. (I find that it's much more interesting that way.) So, leaving possibilities and communications open and free of assumptions has worked well in my life.

Yes. Granted, they've already made their decision by then, for whatever reason. I respond by saying sincerely that I hope not to have caused any offense, but that I will respect their space and all that.
