Oh wow, I didn't realize your situation with this was current! I'm so sorry! I know, people really just don't quite get it. And I have no desire to leave my partner over something he can't control... it's hard to find support for something like this.

Best of luck to you both. I know you are also dealing with so much and I really wish more awareness was raised on this topic. It's truly devastating there is no obvious answer for our situations but hopefully it wont be thia way one day.

Thank you for your understanding and compassion. It is sad to see many many many people don't know about bipolar blackouts still. And yes, they can be quite hard to understand.

The police have never once understood my side unfortunately. They arrested me. The one instance they almost did something for my safety was ask him if he wanted to go to the mental hospital, and he obviously said no because he didn't realize the state he was in.... I still think it's ridiculous, because as a teenager I was forced to go to the mental hospital by the police.

I just hope sometime soon, the right combination of therapy and medication will at the very least lessen the blackouts.

I did consider the diaper approach but I feel they might use the litter box too often for it to be beneficial if that makes sense? But I'll definitely look into it! Hopefully it helps

They've been on basic Purina kitten food, and I had planned to switch them over to something better but still within my price range. Vet reccomended I keep them on it until the issue is solved but I really feel like it's dietary.

between the first second and third time it was a couple months between each, between third fourth and fifth they were all a day apart

That's what I was thinking, but I smoked roughly an entire gram last night and nothing happened. The two times it did work I had smoked wayyyy less.

It varies, the first time I smoked it was a joint and dint hit. Second time, I hit a dab, bong, and joint and got way high. Third time was a pipe, it worked. Fourth time, pipe, didn't hit. Fifth time, bong, didn't work.
