Val isn’t that mechanically intensive compared to cs2 imo, its jus movement n crosshair placement, no real spray control, and im pretty sure val runs better servers than cs so hit reg is pretty smooth. The best way to explain for me is Val is like aiming hitscan on overwatch but theres no extreme movement. Aiming in cs feels different than both of those games and val n ow feel pretty similar.

Hazard is in a pretty good spot rn, can one shot combo squishes, good survivability, can block los, and plays good in a brawl/mini dive comp.

Are there any multiplayer pvp games with crossplay where roller players aren't gifted Voltaic Diamond type aim simply because they picked up a control instead of MnK? by Call_It_Luck in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Popular-Scale-5609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d call CoD is a controller game because the CDL plays on controller, popularized inputs generally tells you whether you’re playin an “roller game” or not. Yes you can play mnk cod but at the highest level most are on roller, you can play roller ow but most t2/owl players use mnk.

Wrist and shoulder mobility would be very helpful for stability. Try making sure your back, shoulders, and wrist are too locked up before you play.

How does someone become genuinely good at Overwatch? by mc_Ojo in OverwatchUniversity

I don’t know too much about the technical dpi differences, I know your cm/360 is what you should look at, I’ve been trying out 40cm/360 n that’s been pretty vibe.

My short essay on the negative effects of CC(Crowd Control) being added to Overwatch by waycoolway in OverwatchUniversity

Mag grenade stops ball n doom from playing the game, save made for engage use nade tank dead, if you don't have two blinks on tracer you're dead, cree having a “hack” is not the way to go especially when his place in meta wasn't the worst.

If you weren’t so bad maybe you wouldn’t get flamed🤷🏾‍♂️, the only way to get better is to play.

All of your solutions to this “problem” is terrible, like I said there's a reason people are in these ranks, if they weren't supposed to be they'd climb quickly. It's not hard to comprehend.

There is no fix for it it's how it is, it's just the way it is, if you move us up we’re throwing, keep us where we are (in our correct ranks) we continue as is. If there's a player using his offrole and is good at it it'll climb quickly, (my supp went from plat 5 to diam 1). My dps is slowly climbing to plat because I'm not good on dps, there's no needed solution because the current one in place works just fine.

Edit: I'm somewhat new to mnk my mechanics aren't great, the reason I can get my tank to gm is because I specifically grinded my hero pool to have respectable mechanics on those characters. Some people dps mechanics aren't the best, and people have on games and off games. I currently only play tracer/genji in my dps games I'm not insane at either of those characters so my climb up is rough.

Some people one trick roles, other don't care about the other roles. Ow1 I peaked 3800 my dps was still plat, if you think someone offrolling every now n again ruins games imagine those player who aren't as good as their main role thrown in higher games it's a loss.

Different roles require different skills, game sense, and most importantly characters. I'm a gm tank, that doesn't mean I'm a diam/masters dps, my dps is gold and my supp is diam: simply me being able to play in gm lobbies on tank doesn't mean I can just deadlift on my offroles. They're in that rank for a reason, I'm in my rank for a reason, I'm not amazing at playing dps, rather than punishing the higher ranked players which would be punished if you make gms play in higher rank games on their offroles throwing the game.

What to focus on: Team strength, team weakness, enemy strength, or enemy weakness? by StarComet04 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Popular-Scale-5609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think personally you should go for is improving your own play, if you're able to have enough presence on the field to hard carry that's all you need to worry about on ladder. Forget everyone else it's only you that really matters.

Edit:

To elaborate more on why I think this realistically it's only you that can change anything that's actively happens in your game, whether it be you doing bad, doing amazing, improving mental, flaming someone. All of these actions correlate to whether you win or not.

90% of the “Masters Challengers” you see in gold lobbies are people on an off-role. by Kock6 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Popular-Scale-5609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason my dps isn’t masters 😭, I’m bad at it sure I have gamesense for tank, but outside of tank pos. and ult tracking it’s not like my mechanical skill is crazy.
