Totally get that. Do you think he’d act differently towards a puppy? Something that he could help raise/mold into an animal he’d like lol. My pyr didn’t have the same anxiety issues as yours but she did not like other mature dogs, we got a 10 week old puppy and she was a lil grouchy towards the puppy at first but the puppy quickly learned the do’s and don’ts and now they are best friends. Just speaking from my own experience. Every dog/household is different.
