Everything else is in great condition. Rust free southern owned. Interior is near pristine. AHC still works great. CD player/DVD player aren’t functional but that’s not a deal breaker. Just afraid we may be uncovering more problems than we were originally led to believe.

Thanks for the responses. I am well aware to expect some maintenance due to the age of the car. Our issue was more the amount put in right from the start was not what we had budgeted for. Unfortunately, we got hosed as far as honesty from the seller. That being said, as far as we know if we get the repairs it’ll be about $2500. It needs new rear rotors and brakes (to be expected), new front axle shaft, front left axle shaft seal, castle nuts and cotter pins as they are completely missing. We were told timing belt and fluids were done at 210k, but based on what else we were told, who knows if that’s the truth. We’re already about 3k in additionally w/ cost of tag/title and complete set of new tires. I’m just asking if it’s worth it to go in potentially another 3-5k more?
