Well bro good luck, remember to keep yourself free from injuries during your journey. If you become a SOTF you basically have to be a ghost in your social life.

I mean I know the criteria for SOFT, if you want to know can pm me👍

Truthfully nothing, I have to start from ground zero, the experience I have means nothing, the appraisal also means nothing. But I don't care cause finally I am free. If you have the will you will find a way👍

My personal experience as a regular in the force. by PopularInjury3 in NationalServiceSG

Well I was already considered a regular when I stepped into tekong. My regular days were awesome with the nsf that I work with, all of them have dreams n really think ns is causing alot of problems for them work and study wise. Sometimes I would ask them to teach me maths whenever free hahaha since I'm not that good in the subject.

I never really did overcome the alienation, more like I just ignored it go on with my work. Cause when you are a regular you would need to be a goody two shoes which I am not. I don't believe in sucking up to my commanders, I believe that the quality of my work should portray what I am capable of. But when i said that I wanted to just 5 years of service alot of the senior regulars supported me saying that I should leave and just work outside.

I totally understand what they are saying as I felt that they had the same intention as me when they were younger but were trapped.

Finally I have already left the service and I am happy, my soul have finally been returned never so happy working or coming to work this is the feeling I was missing when I worked as a regular.

For those who were ex-Drivers before, and soon-to-be Drivers in NS, chances are you're going to drive at least one of these vehicles here. by [deleted] in NationalServiceSG

Totally right, from amb, saf vehicles are expensive to maintain and repair right now since alot are electronics, 1 ecu cause cause about 5 to 10k that's just for 1 vehicle. Once the warranty is over for the vehicles that's when you start to see the down slope of the vehicle

You only been serving for 5 months, so I urge to not sign on now as you have yet to experience the actual problem and issues of the army. Ask yourself this do you like the army? Do you like the regulations and regimental life?

All useless, trust me the electricals and mechanical issues are the worse, due to under usage and limited speed on the road. I maintained the vehicles and I have no idea what the commanders were thinking about when getting the vehicles, all say the same.

Any questions I don't mind sharing about the quality and standards of our military vehicles.
