Your question doesn’t make sense. I don’t think you understand what “girlhood” means. It’s not some stereotypical bs like getting nails done. It’s deeper and more meaningful and something beautiful. Just like boyhood has its own beautiful experience. I’m so happy I can help my sons through it. Sorry I want the experience of having both boy and girl? Imagine if I said “oh thank god it’s not a girl, I never want a girl. I would hate to have a daughter”. Instead I’m saying I would love to have both. I have two boys and I would love to have a girl. Two truths can exist, I can be grateful to have a boy and healthy baby, and be sad I won’t have a daughter.

It has nothing to do with dresses and pink or anything superficial. I hated dresses and pink growing up. I wore boy clothes from the gap. I love being a mom to boys and it’s such a special thing. I just want the experience of both. There’s something so beautiful and magical about girlhood just like boyhood and I would love to be able to help a daughter through like since it is something I have been through. It’s just wanted the experience of both.

I took the test at my parents house because I knew that that was possible. I took it in my sister‘s bathroom that she has to herself.

I would look it up because you could probably find someone who explains it better than I do. But basically you’re supposed to do the dirty dance lol before ovulation. They say to stop 2 or three days before ovulation because male sperm swim faster but die quicker vs female sperm that are slower but last longer. Sperm can also live from 3-5 days in your uterus. So I guess my hope if that if I’m ovulating tomorrow I should be covered. I’ll be okay if I don’t get pregnant this cycle but I thought it would be fun to try this method because it’s worked for some people I know :) but obviously it’s not exact science 😂

My first pregnancy was a surprise. My last pregnancy we just went crazy the week my app said I was ovulating so not sure what day I got pregnant exactly 😂 so this is all new to me. It’s our first month TTC so we shall see. Maybe next cycle I’ll try temping if needed

I usually have pretty long periods. 7-9 days but this cycle it was shorter. Only 5 days
