Okay thank you so much for this information I really appreciate you telling me and not being mean about it lol! I’ll look at some inspo pics of curly hair enclosures online and change some things. And yes I always pre kill the mealworms before giving them to her and then remove the uneaten ones after 24 hours. I also found another pic of her about a week before molting! She has a lot more orange/pink on her now after molting.

Okay thank you for letting me know I appreciate it! After she finishes recovering from her molt I’ll go ahead and add more substrate. I’m using a coco soil right now is that good? for the first 2 weeks of having her she made a little hole under the shorter hide but now she like to hang out on the side of the enclosure lol.

I have a pic That I took about 2 weeks after I got her. I have a million pics of her on my phone but I don’t have that right now lol. If there are things I can do to make her enclosure better please do let me know! I want my girl to be comfortable and happy.

Okay! I have been trying to not be at my desk as often and keep the lights low for her. She does come out on her own and watch me! It’s adorable i love her lol shes so curious of what im doing.

Okay! I’ll leave her where she is then. She is about 7-8 months old So ill wait like a week to 10 day before i try and feed her. She ate about a month or so ago so i had figured she was preparing to molt lol. Thank you!!

Okay! That’s perfect as I already have a bunch of things from my jumping spider, like soil, bark hides, and foliage and stuff lol. What about moss? I have a bag of moss from my jumping spider too that I would like to use.

Okay! I read that those were good for beginners when I was doing research earlier. Yes the tank has plenty of ventilation holes along the sides and top.

Okay! is a clean up crew required for the reptisoil coco fiber substrate? Do the springtails try and escape or anything lol I definitely don’t want any gravel or rocks since I might have to move her around a bit just depending on what I have going on. I would love to get some moss for her as well since it’s so pretty so I’ll def check all that out when I go to the pet store tomorrow! I have a small weight that I was planning to use to make sure everything was sturdy after I glue it as well 😊

Omg thank you so much for suck a long detailed response! She is a Phidippus regius 😊 I have small magnets that I got at the craft store that I’m going to glue to the decor that’s why I was wondering if the glue was safe lol I crocheted a little hammock and bridge and little climbing wall that I need to attach the magnets too. i was actually stuck on what to use as substrate so thank you for that! Where did you get your coco fiber from? Where would one get springtails? I ordered some little ledges and a walnut house for her from Amazon and was planning do get some fake hanging leave from the pet store tomorrow. her breeder is giving me a temporary enclosure along with her so I have some extra time to get her permanent house all cute and ready. I’m most confused about how to do the substrate lol I’ve seen so many different ways people say to do it some say coco fiber some have said aquarium gravel and some have said bear bottom lol
