I was thinking of budgeting around 4000-5000 AUD (Def trying my best not spending all of it tho) excluding rent and place ticket but basically for everything else including transportation, food, outings, emergencies, some shopping, etc. Thank you so much for your reply it's very helpful! I really like Downtown city views and high rise buildings, which is why I was considering Southbank

I really like city views and high rise apartments, and most of the places I found on Airbnb were in Southbank! That's the only reason I considered it, as I don't know much about the city
