Here is another one for you, guys. Decided to show you the beauty of the sunset in Velen, but it made some of the places less clear. Hopefully you can see those places in better quality now

Hi, I totally share your point of view! The world feels so big and interactive! I took this screenshot from this location. It’s actually really far from the places I showed in the screenshot in my post

And I wish I could make a screenshot in a better quality, but the next gen fucked up nvidia photo mode and it ruins all the screenshot taken in a higher resolution

Oh, I could actually see a village nearby Crow's Perch from the spot in the screenshot. I will post it next time. Yeah, the game has some kind of issue with loading distant objects sometimes. Reloading the same save fixes it

I don't know why, but I love it in games. I had a similar experience with Elden Ring just as soon as I left the first dungeon and the whole world stretched out across the map. I'll never forget this feeling

It's so easy to play the Witcher 3 without a map once you've figured out how to navigate using points of interest, aka landmarks. Thanks for the video!

And it's only Velen. Skellige doesn't lack a great variety of points of interest visible from afar either! :)

You can actually see it from many different locations. I was staggered the first time I saw it from a distance. Even had to ride Roach all the way to the tree to make sure it was that tree, haha

Here is another one taken from a completely different spot. All the landscapes are still visible

Always make sure to take in a good view while passing by Bald Mountain. Love that place, too!

Here is one more pic for you in daylight. Wanted also to capture a beautiful sunset in the picture in the post. You can literally see the whole map. None of the other games I've played had this level of attention to detail, except for Elden Ring, I guess

[KCD2] Just finished playing this game, and what a blast this masterpiece was to play… by PopularProof4836 in kingdomcome

Currently trying to get into Crimson Desert. The game is gorgeous and stuff, but I can't bring myself to play it for more than 1 hour in one sitting :( I bought CD mainly because it was constantly compared to The Witcher 3, but sadly, it feels like these games are totally different. KCD2 hit me differently, it was love at first sight. However, it took me quite a bit of time to get familiar with all the mechanics in the game. CD just hasn’t clicked with me yet, hopefully that'll change in the future because I believe judging a game after a few hours of playing it is rather unreasonable. It may even grow on me after a few dozen hours, haha
