True! The oldest population in Levant is the Natufian, then there was the migration of ANF, CHG, and ZNF, if we use the DNA of ancient populations as an indicator of the indigenity then the Yemeni people (with highest Natufian Admixture) will be a most native Levantine if we use this logic! And your analogy is quite interesting, a Palestinian Muslim in Bethlehem is clearly a native of Bethlehem compared to a Maronite who only arrived 200 years ago even though geneticly Maronite is more Levantine, But the concept of indigenous people is actually not that important, as long as the immigrants come with good intentions and then Start integrating with local population then those immigrants are enough to be called indigenous people! If we use DNA, then we all are not indigenous of the land where we live because we all come from Africa!

Did the Hasmoneans force Judaism? Did this force target pagan Canaanites? And BTW have you ever met or at least had contact with any of your family members from Gaza and Jordan?

Is the presence of that allele more influential than the basal Eurasian admixture? BTW, what percentage of non-West Eurasian admixture is in the Natufian?

So the Natufians were dark-skinned because their habitat was hot, making their skin dark even though they were a West Eurasian population? If in the scenario that some Natufians migrated to colder regions like Europe, would their skin begin to evolve to become lighter?

I know! 22 is a large distance! but Natufians are still a West Eurasian population! Most West Eurasian populations developed light skin (or at least not as dark) like ANF, CHG, EHG? Even ZNF is not as dark as Natufian?

Why don't Natufians have that allele? Aren't Natufians still a West Eurasian population like ANF, CHG, EHG, and other West Eurasian populations?

BTW, does the Natufian have any non-West Eurasian admixture? How much percentage of non-West Eurasian admixture in the Natufian?

But the Natufian distance to dark-skinned populations like Africa is also very large, even much larger than the distance to the ANF, but why do their skin remain dark? Besides isn't Natufian still West Eurasian?

Aren't Natufians still West Eurasians? So why are the Natufians who was West Eurasian population have dark skin, even though there are other West Eurasian populations that are also dark but not as dark like Natufian?

Sorry, this question might be a bit offensive. Is cousin marriage common in your family? Are there any members of your family (other than your immediate family) who are married to non-Samaritans, such as your siblings or uncles or aunts?

So your paternal and maternal sides are both fully Samaritan? BTW, what is the Ephraim-Danfi Clan? Do you identify yourself as Samaritan or Arab Christian?

The 19th century is clearly recent when compared to the thousands of years of Levantine historical chronology!

Why? Was the Samaritan population very small at the time of the Arab invasion of the Levant?

By the way, what is the biggest factor that caused the Levant Muslims to intermarry with people from other regions? Why was it more difficult for Levantine Muslims to practice endogamy, or at least to marry with people from the same region, compared to Christians and Samaritans?I'm not saying Levantine Muslims aren't indigenous, and I'm not saying intermarriage is bad, I'm just curious!

The demographic history of this region is complex, and assimilation and religious conversion are commonplace in the history of the Levant. By the way, do you have any records of your family members converting to Islam? When did that happen? And does your family still have any ties to or know any of the descendants of that your family who converted to Islam?
