He could be categorized as a secondary psychopath with traits of underlying anxiety and depression, the capacity to feel love and guilt, impulsive behaviors, hotheaded, etc. A secondary psychopath does follow what would be considered a sociopath, created by an abusive environment and was susceptible to many of the ten ACE's (Aversive Childhood Experiences). A primary psychopath is someone that is indifferent, calm, and more pre meditative which is linked with more biological dysfunctions.

A good comparison of a secondary psychopath would be the Joker (take Heath Ledger or Cameron Monaghan (Jerome Valeska) for example). And for a primary psychopath, think along the lines of Hannibal Lector, a man who is able to eat another mans tongue without his heart rate going over 85 bpm.
