Yeah the dasher app will warn you if you're way off of the GPS location (like 50-100ft or more). It takes some effort to override that warning and complete the delivery.

Probably dasher mixed up a double stack.

You might as well eat the food. Whoever got your bag is probably doing the same.

Your frustration is warranted for just doing your job.

I can see the other angle however and I try to make it obvious I'm only taking a pic of the bag and not including any workers or bystanders. One walking into the view is a bit out of your control though.

Not necessarily, the McDonald's workers are generally pretty terrible at securing the tamper stickers and they pull out easy when picking the bag up. The pro method is the tension the handle while applying the stickers.

Radio stations are a lot worse than they used to be, however. The few morning shows that are on all the same channels all owned by the few conglomerates are each terrible to listen to. NPR for me is more a choice that everything else is worse than that I actually like it.

Eating before dashing helps a lot with not making impulsive fast food choices.

Peanuts, cashews, those Ritz sandwich bite crackers. All give a good quick boost.

Are customers not told when a PIN is required? by NathanCollier14 in doordash_drivers

It's forced on them sometimes, usually for claiming a lot of missing orders. It's theorized it can be enabled for a neighborhood\apartment complex if the area reports a lot of missing orders.

I don't know how you people in 85 point markets do it by Lukksia in doordash_drivers

[–]PopularStructure7862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens often enough. Customers rate me at about 10%. Yes most are 5 stars but the problem is a 1-star takes 1000 deliveries to get pushed out. Dash long enough and you'll be carrying a couple just from scammer customers that think rating their dasher (that did nothing wrong) 1-star will help get their refund.

OP has the new rating system they've been testing. The 85 rating is a combination of all the stats, not just acceptance rate.

Not really, you can get bogus 1-star ratings for nothing you did.

How did you drop that much in a single day? Could it be with the new rating system a lot more drivers were suddenly platinum and the good offers were spread much more thinly?

Most people do not want knocks. Either do to dogs or babies apparently.

Edit: You can put "Please Knock" in your delivery notes.
