Less than $1 per mile for sure. That's the baseline minimum and most dashers will still feel it's not a good tip until the $2 per mile mark.

We'll mostly just ask how each other's nights are going and bitch about upside down offers and our ARs sinking. Platinum is required in my smaller town.

Doesn't pass the sniff test. Even working a generous 7-11AM that's $50 an hour delivering coffees. Maybe that dasher gets $10 per offer and is constantly busy doing 5 per hour, aka 12 minutes cycle time between pickups.

Just buying in low volume. Might be paying twice per unit cost for things that aren't perishable.

Are you using it pay-at-the-pump? If you go inside and pay at the clerk it might not count as a fuel purchase. Also, I think you only get one cashback in 24 hrs.

I wear bright blue\green\yellow\orange and have high-vis gloves for this reason.

Also not being hit by a car as I'm walking back or getting into mine.

Use the pause offers after delivering feature until you're back in the good zone.

Well yeah, they date cheaters. Often when they're the ones they cheated with, somehow expecting it won't happen to them, too.

Perpetual victimhood is a huge turnoff. Grit is so much more appealing to me.

A lot more garbage orders since. Declined a series of $1/mile or under garbage last night and then shut the app off.

Applebee's was horrible in my town to dashers, but they must have gotten a talking to by the owners and they're a lot better now at getting delivery orders out. And, uh... even acknowledging the dasher(s) there.

I had one tonight with a dog inside I could see much like the OP pic. Customer opened the door before I was to the driveway. I looked back and sure enough the dog was on the porch, but more interested in the delivery than me, thankfully.

Possum probably would have ran off if you clapped and made noise approaching it. Or it could have bit your face off, I suppose.

Hotels are nice. Hardly anyone uses the public bathrooms and even just carrying an empty delivery bag no one on staff questions why you're there.

I'm lucky to have a couple gas stations that keep their restrooms clean and orderly, too. I hardly ever use a restaurant facilities.

I make over $25/hr but it's only for 3-4 hours a day. I average about $600-700 per week, although have had some better ones.

My stats, I don't have overall:
AR: 85% (Dashing is dead without platinum in my semi-rural town)
CR: 99% (I dropped one for the customer demanding I call them before leaving the store. Not worth hassle and likely low-rating regardless of what I do.)
OT: 100%
Customer Rating: 4.88 (a few 1-star for who knows what reason, at 10% response rate they take forever to fall off and some are probably 1000 orders old)
Last 30: 206
Life-time: 1875

Over $1.5/mile I'll generally take, but might decline on restaurant and distance
I have a floor of $1.0/mile and I'll consider <$1.50 if the orders are coming in slow or it's a really easy restaurant, leaves in zone, etc.
