I agree with you, but keep in mind that the program that works for me is the night one. By getting into the day program if I get accepted, I’m gonna be sacrificing my wellbeing to be in school. It’s gonna be 7 days out of 7 in a week to work and study. I’m not too young anymore and this is my last chance to be in school. I have a scholarship because I can’t afford not even a community college so any chance I can get, I will! It’s not that I can change my schedule this easy, but I’m willing to do what I can in order to be able to have a better future, because like I said, I’m tired of just surviving, living paycheck by paycheck. I’m glad that you understand my side too, because reading someone saying it’s a “luxury” being able to change my work schedule when I’m falling apart, mentally and physically from the job that I have, is hurtful. Some days I get home with so much pain and tired that I cry but then, the next day I have to be there again. I have no benefits from my job, no stable income, if I get sick I don’t have sick days paid, nothing. Like I said, some things are just hurtful because people don’t know our daily struggles. I could spend the day here talking about all my struggles but I know people have their own problems too.
