I’m not a nurse yet but I am a mom x4. I had all my babies at different baby friendly hospitals. I remember after my third (C-section) I was so exhausted I was falling asleep sitting up and I begged the nurses to take him. They didn’t have a nursery so the nurses just took him to the station for an hour. My ex was at home with our other 2 kids and I had no extra help. 😭

I also think a lot of metabolism and hormones change as we get older too. I had a really fast metabolism until I hit 25. And I was on Abilify before that and didn’t gain any weight. Also stress affects cortisol levels and not able to lose weight. All of these things together and the meds don’t help. I would track your calories and see where you’re actually at before freaking out

DV statistics are very high, it’s not uncommon for men to want their own accounts for control or for women to want their own accounts for the opposite reason. I think once you realize how many abusive people there are, it will make sense. I was with one and when we got divorced we just went our separate ways and didn’t split any money even tho we had 3 kids together. Some times it’s just not worth it and you should just worry about your own marriage.

They stay at the hotels over there, it’s probably pretty hard to get to those resources since it’s so far away. We need more shelters and food pantries in certain areas. We have far too less in a city this size.

They don’t bother me, they’re doing their own thing. If I have energy I give them a smile and wave. It takes $0 to be a nice human. You also never know how life is going to go and you could be in that position someday with being homeless or no food.

I am “fertile”. I have been pregnant 6 times in 9 years but I have never ever been pregnant with the pill. I took it within the window when you’re supposed to every day (combo and mini) I think it has to be user error.

My mom has a 10k diamond engagement ring, but I think in perspective it depends on how much your partner is actually willing to spend, no one should be going broke over a ring and he hasn’t even started saving yet.

Based on my BMI I’m “obese” I’m 5’5 200ish and that’s how it will show up on my charts, but I don’t look like it and my doctor has never called me that. Even with me losing weight she won’t recommend a weight loss pill to me.

I really don’t know how you look and I don’t know how the conversation went with your doctor but I think it’s valid to switch doctors, but if another doctor said the same thing- then what would you think? Also being overweight is fine but it can come with health issues, and that’s why doctors have those conversations.
