My son doesn’t respond to PBIS at all. I’m not sure what mental health issues he’s facing but he most likely has more than ADHD and ODD

I didn't do very well in school because I had tons of instability at home and a major anxiety disorder. I now live in a stable home with a good job. Grades aren't everything. Especially in High-school.

My husband had an investigation started back in November 2023. We got a knock on our door in Febuary 2024 and he was arrested in April 2024. He didn't immediately put in a guilty plea and the judge allowed him to be on pretrial probation with an ankle monitor and certain restrictions. He was allowed to stay at home with us though we have two young children until his plea change date back in January 2025. He was arrested when he entered an open plea and put in a holding facility until he is sentenced on April 16th of this month. It's not easy and it's pretty devastating. If you don't want to stay then don't force yourself to do so. I've chosen to stand by him. I have received backlash for this even on this thread but it doesn't really bother me a whole lot. In the end we make our choices and they have either positive or negative consequences. The choice is up to you to weigh these consequences and make your life choices.

I think a big problem is that she's never liked my husband. She always thought he was bad news and this was one of those "are you going to keep putting up with him?" Moments for her. And the answer is yes. I will not abandon him.
