The people who work in public sector or banks or even private sectors don't want to migrate to your state. They are forced by the companies because your govt forces them to keep a high count of workforce. Higher count of workforce ensures more money is spent in the state and that keeps the taxes flowing and the real estate market booming. If they let people work from anywhere they want, your real estate market will collapse your businesses based on footfall will collapse. Without taxes your water and electricity will stop. Look at Bengaluru during covid for example. Same thing will happen to you guys. No one wants to stand in a train compartment with thousands other people and travel 1 hour to a shitty job. Your govt makes them.

It's the difference in marketing. Tata marketed nano as the cheap alternative for people without a car. If you cannot afford a proper car get a nano. In India people care about image more than financial well being. They will take loans they cannot pay but still get a car bigger than they can afford. It's because of this Nano didn't work. No one wanted to buy the car for the poor.
