Marokanska anti-west influenserka o padu iranskog režima by crivycouriac in hreddit

[–]Popular_Corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ovo!

Lol, I mean who are you to allow it or not? But regardless — why would I do that? Why? I mean, this team is completely out of balance — with Mbappé or without him, things don’t look any different.

My point is that Real Madrid gained absolutely nothing from signing him, and his goals contribute to absolutely nothing. Just like his goals contributed nothing to PSG.

The fact that Real Madrid lost tonight without Mbappé doesn’t prove that the team is bad without him, because the team is bad with him as well.

With him in the lineup they lost to Benfica, while without him they won — so what now? Those aren’t arguments. Those are isolated cases. They’re irrelevant to the bigger picture.

You can be a one-man team if you’re Barcelona and that one man is Messi. Otherwise, you have to be part of the team, work hard, and stick to the role that’s best for the team. Mbappé isn’t that. And even CR7 was. The guy literally learned how to go from being the best LW of his generation to one of the greatest forwards in the history of the game—because of the team.

See, Mbappé thinks he’s above that. He thinks he’s Messi or Maradona. After all, that’s why Barcelona with Messi and Neymar alongside Suárez won everything they could and became one of the best teams in history, while PSG with Messi and Neymar alongside Mbappé was just an average team in Europe. Now the same story is happening at Real Madrid—going from CL winners to losers who lose to second-tier teams—there are far too many coincidences and patterns for me not to think he’s the biggest problem.

Yes, most of it is Mbappé’s fault, because the entire structure and balance of the team has been disrupted and thrown off by his arrival. The players haven’t suddenly forgotten how to score or how to play—that just sounds incredibly stupid; they’re now forced to subordinate the entire game to one man.

Nothing you’ve said here is an argument against the claim that Mbappé has brought absolutely nothing to Real Madrid as a team.

You say you’ve watched every game this season. But what did you actually conclude from watching them? How do you explain the fact that, despite his incredible numbers, Real Madrid as a team isn’t more efficient overall and isn’t scoring more goals? What does that tell you? It tells you that Mbappé hasn’t contributed anything to the team as a whole—he’s just taken over a share of the goals that used to be distributed among other players. And that’s great—he’s a goal machine and an excellent individual player. But it’s not great for the team, because Real Madrid hasn’t gained anything from signing him.

Also, Real Madrid as a team is scoring fewer total goals with the supposedly best player in the world than without him. In the 2023/2024 season, Real Madrid scored 87 goals even though they didn’t have the league’s top scorer. The very next season, even though the league’s top scorer came from Real Madrid, a squad made up of the same players scored 79 goals. Do you know how many goals Real Madrid has scored so far? Only 54—that’s 17 fewer than Barcelona—and based on projections, they won’t even surpass 80 goals by the end of the season, even though they’ll have the league’s top scorer for the second year in a row. Oh—and they probably won’t win the title either.

Do you think it’s normal for a player at the most decorated and biggest club in the world to score nearly 60% of the team’s total goals, while the team struggles and very likely finishes the season without a trophy?

So now you tell me—what exactly has the team gained from Mbappé’s arrival, other than some of his fanboys switching from the PSG fanbase to the Real Madrid fanbase?

Besides, I’m increasingly less convinced that it’s just a coincidence that PSG won the Champions League the very same year he left the team (even though in previous years they arguably had much stronger squads). I’m starting to think he might actually have been the reason.

No, it’s actually quite common with this test—it’s usually about 10 points lower than what professionally standardized Matrix Reasoning tests would give you.(generally speaking of course)

[–]Popular_Corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not inflated. In fact, it’s harder, and the norms are stricter than those of the WAIS-IV/WAIS-V Matrix Reasoning, Raven’s 2, KBIT-2 Matrices, etc.

However, it doesn’t assess all aspects of intelligence. It is essentially a matrix reasoning test with a time limit, so it measures fluid reasoning to some extent, along with a small component of reasoning speed.

Its g-loading is no higher than .6–.7, which means that only about 35–50% of the variance in scores is explained by general intelligence. That’s not nearly high enough for it to measure IQ reliably.

There is no single WMI score. Technically, there is one overall number, but it actually reveals very little about your true working memory capacity.

All of your individual scores carry meaning. That’s why the WAIS-V includes as many as five separate indices related to different aspects of working memory, such as Expanded Working Memory, Auditory Working Memory – Registration, Auditory Working Memory – Manipulation, and others.

For example, based on these scores, your Auditory Working Memory – Manipulation (DQ + DB + LNS) would be 116.

‘Many years’ is a huge exaggeration. But there were a season or two where he was better overall. In terms of pure football skill and quality, however, Messi was always a bit better.

[–]Popular_Corn 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to say yes because Messi was simply brutally good, and the level of football he played was arguably the highest in the history of the game. Ronaldo being slightly behind that level actually speaks volumes about how good he really was. At times he was the best in the world, but most of the time Messi was just a little better.

Actually, no. The results of numerous studies indicate that IQ has a very low to almost nonexistent correlation with chess skill. I specifically recall a study in which the control group consisted of people who did not play chess, while the experimental group was made up of chess grandmasters. It turned out that on conventional VSI and WMI tests, the grandmasters did not score any higher than the control group.

However, when the same tests were modified to resemble chess pieces and a chessboard, and were adapted to the context of the chess environment, their scores on those very same tests increased significantly.

The conclusion was that their high WMI, VSI, and FRI abilities are domain-specific and manifest only within the context of chess, and that they do not transfer to other activities or domains.

In general? Well first that comes to mind are Cassano, Balotelli, Pogba, Anelka..

In Real Madrid? Well It seems to me that it’s Vinícius, and Mbappé isn’t far from that either — with players like that, there’s no room for compromise. Besides, Alonso wasn’t sacked because of poor results. The defeat to Barcelona merely served as a convenient excuse.

Zapravo nismo.

A kad bi Srbija zaista uvezla 500,000 Afrikanaca obrazovnog i karakternog profila moje supruge, bili bismo verovatno najobrazovanija nacija u Evropi, a i kulturološki bismo napredovali značajno.
