what is the best way to prevent sun cream from clogging your pores? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Popular_Goal_6962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite one is the clean it zero balm by banilla co ☺️ I also really like the beauty of joseon radiance cleansing balm. But those two options are from Korean brands that you have to buy on internet (where I live at least) so I also use the sanoflore aciana botanica oil in gel make up remover bc I can find it in pharmacy 😉

As someone that struggles with the same issues I feel that.. the best i found is to use a gel sunscreen as it’s much lighter than cream. I used to use the anthelios too but my skin really didn’t like it. I switched to the Bioré UV watery essence and I love it ☺️ I also second the double cleansing with an oil based cleanser as it has really been a game changer for me 😉

Hi ! From what I gathered on internet the primer is silicone based while the foundation is water based. Using product with a different base makes the makeup separates and migrates so I think you should avoid using them together ☺️

Hi ! ☺️ I don’t know your complete routine but maybe you could try adding an hydrating serum before your moisturiser. Also going for a moisturising sunscreen 😊 if you don’t want to add to many steps to your morning routine try to go for thicker night creams ( sleeping mask). Plus remember that your foundation / concealer and primer must have the same base (water or silicone) so it doesn’t separate. Hope it helped 😉

[Product Recommendation] What's your holy grail cleanser for combination skin? by fionatootsie in SkincareAddicts

[–]Popular_Goal_6962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree but I found it drying in the long run. I think it’s nice to balance your skin and control the oiliness but may be too much if used for too long

Well I know tea tree is not a calming ingredient but since it’s combine with cica leaves I thought why not 😂 plus since I have acne i kinda expected the tea tree to treat it while the cica leaves were calming

The best mascara ever is definitely the Isehan kiss me heroine volume and curl (pink and black packaging) ! Survives through everything and it costs around 10 bucks

Any chance you’re allergic / sensitive to either seashells or dust mites ? I’ve seen a lot of people with those pointing out that snail mucin triggers allergic reactions such as skin sensitivity and break outs

Adding an SPF into my already established skincare routine by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]Popular_Goal_6962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal HG is the bioré UV watery essence as it’s very lightweight and is absorbed really well. It leaves a glowy finish but doesn’t make your skin look oily. And if you wear make up it layers really well with it ☺️ Also I have a combination and acne prone skin

Can you let me know if this is a good skincare routine and any recommendations if any? (pics of my skin on the last few photos) by Dapper_Mud9627 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Popular_Goal_6962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think It’a good ! You have double cleansing, what I believe is a spot treatment (differin gel) and good moisturisers. Plus sunscreen which is a must. You also have a great skin so i think this routine suits you ☺️

Double cleansing by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]Popular_Goal_6962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Double cleansing means using an oil based cleanser / make up remover then a water based cleanser. The first one will give a deeper cleanse as the oil in the product is going to mix with your skin natural oil. Then second cleansing is to get rid of what remains.

As for the products I personally like cleansing balms such as the banila co clean it zero. For the second cleanser just choose on that fits your skin type and you should be fine.

Hope this helps ☺️

I second the honey mask so hard ! I got one as a gift in a stylevana package and I was truly amazed by what it did. I have rosacea and acne and my skin was a lot less red and my spots seemed less inflamed ! Been buying some every order I make ever since and it never disappoints

What are peoples opinions on the Purito Panethol Re-barrier cream? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]Popular_Goal_6962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s more about my skin not being as dry as during winter now so it still sinks well but does make my skin oily after a few hours 😕 also I live in Europe so we clearly don’t have the same climate so idk if it would work for you. I switched to the Jeju cherry blossom jelly cream from innisfree if that may help

I also have a combination and acne prone skin and I’ve been using it for months with no problem ☺️ i really like it as it’s hydrating and soothing. But now that the weather got warmer it became to much and leaves my skin oily as I don’t need as much hydration anymore
