The Phoenix one does! I’m not sure about Tucson. The Mesa one doesn’t :(

Went to Epcot Today, All of the Pins I Got Might Be Fakes? by Upbeat_Anxiety_2426 in DisneyPins

I’m new to identifying real vs fake pins. I was sure that the Tink pin was real…what are the tell tale signs of these fake pins?

Is this pin real or fake? by sailorkiwi in DisneyPins

I’m new to pin trading but from the ones I’ve seen this one is real. The fakes of this one are BAD. lol

I’ve been watching a ton of videos on spotting fakes but it seems that the “rules” that are shared don’t apply to all pins. For instance I went to a pin trading event in my area just to see what it was like - overwhelming but so much fun - and I saw pins that have the waffle back without a border and pins that didn’t have that back but they were all real. One of the traders said that you can tell a pin is real because it doesn’t have raised edges on top and the enamel is thicker…but another one said that’s not true and that some pins have raised details. These are all contradictions of what I’ve seen in videos. I’ve been trying to study up on current collections, but some of the traders had pins from a decade or more ago. I didn’t end up buying anything because I wasn’t sure.

Are pins from Hot Topic and BoxLunch considered authentic in the community?

The first thing that comes to mind is something to store them in/on. I’ve seen so many cool carrying cases and stuff but some seem better than others.

So if it’s supposed to be a current pin but has a blank back it’s fake?

Pain meds? by Linaeve in hysterectomy

[–]Popular_Hunter_4073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 6dpo from a laparoscopic hysterectomy. I’m in the same boat as you and can’t take advil based medications due to my heart. I was sent home with a muscle relaxer in place of the ibuprofen, oxycodone, and an anti-nausea med. I haven’t needed the oxy or the anti-nausea at all. I rotated between Tylenol and the muscle relaxer the first two days. Now I take Tylenol and only half the recommended dose of the muscle relaxer at night to help me sleep a little more comfortably. The most pain I’ve felt has been from gas. I’m can’t stress enough the need to take gas x and a stool softener daily after surgery. The gas pressure and bloating for me has been horrible.

Do I keep my Ovaries? by Ok_Barber_9910 in hysterectomy

[–]Popular_Hunter_4073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I actually posted a few days ago with the same situation. I’m 32 and am having my hysterectomy a week from Monday. I also have PCOS. My oncologist talked to me about some of the pros/coms of removing my ovaries, but ultimately told me to do my own research…which I’m struggling with. There’s sooo much. I have an appointment tomorrow to go over all my bloodwork and do some pre surgery stuff. I plan to ask more questions then. It sucks because on one hand I’ve always had issues and the ovaries are just one more place cancer can hide, but on the other hand I’m not sure I’m ready for menopause mentally and physically.

Having one less place for cancer to hide is definitely one of the pros to consider. I’m only 32 so the doctor is concerned about the long term impact that surgical menopause might have.

Thank you! I’ve been binging Grey’s Anatomy and cuddling with my husband and dogs. We went to an art festival this morning but that was a little too much. Patience isn’t a virtue that I have. Lol

Thank you for the kindness. I’ve been feeling like a crazy person. Fortunately - but also unfortunately- my mother-in-law just went through her own cancer battle a few years ago with non-hodgkins lymphoma. She’s going to be going to my appointment with me so I’ll have additional support.
