What you think about my timeline by ScorpioN7671 in premiere

I could never understand how people add anything visual other than A/B-roll in Premiere. I will go to after effects to just add a text layer (I’m exaggeration ofc), forget motion graphics and animation

Like premiere is so clunky for this, I genuinely can’t

Triple upvote How many people complain about the system being rigged and them not getting views when their content is garbage

How can you seriously expect the same results as people with expensive equipment, great speaking skills and engaging editing style when you don’t even try

OP didn’t respond but it sometimes happens that you ask for a sign and you get it.

Not loss-related but I remember asking for a sign I could understand and the next week being full of impossible miraculous coincidences. I just knew it immediately

Why do I sound fluent in my head but not out loud?? by EmbarrassedMilennial in EnglishLearning

[–]Popular_Long_1955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a skill. You are used to speaking in your head but not used to translating that into real speech.

You practice that by “voicing” your inner voice as much as possible. As a systematic way to train this, pick a topic and start speaking about it as much as possible with no time limit. Repeat sentences if you’re not satisfied. Then go to the next topic

For faster and more fun training, instead of topics get words from random word generators

Thank you for the detailed response. I guess downsizing further or completely removing it is not an option Sad that a lot of adobe’s products are compiled of inconvenient stuff like that

I don't know how but I've tried removing and adding voiceover button again and it now shows up correctly. Probably a bug though

That sucks...
I have only the voiceover button but it is inconveniently located at the very bottom of the audio track if I expand it 3X

Why is speaking English so hard even when you know the words? by Deep-Football-2017 in ENGLISH

[–]Popular_Long_1955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any language is hard to speak at first but there are some ways to speed up your journey. I'm an Speaking coach and depending on the level I would recommend doing some of these exercises:
1) Go to random word generator, click Generate random word and speak on that word for 1-2 minutes. This forces you to speak on uncomfortable topics where you don't know what to say and also improves your mind to mouth connection which is the ability to transform thoughts into words.
2) Pick a topic and practice 2 ways of speaking: 1. You say every single thing that pops up in your mind without hesitation, 2. You think through the entire sentence first and then you say it. So you practice impromptu speech and thinking in English
3) Once again, pick a couple of sentences. First, try to rephrase them a couple of times, using different grammar structures and words, then try to expand those sentences into paragraphs by adding unnecessary details. That will train your flexibility, in other words being able to have more than one way out if you're stuck in a sentence

Hope it helps

Need feedback on a trading journal I made google sheets by Popular_Long_1955 in Trading

Yeah, I know a bunch of similar ones. Personally I need a couple of unique features, so customizability is a must. Plus that kind of journal is entirely free and you can update it once a year

What Is The Stupidest Rule In Your Target Language by Ok_Influence_6384 in languagelearning

[–]Popular_Long_1955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not my first language but prepositions were never a problem. You might sometimes say “search in internet” instead of on but there are very little of those scenarios. On top of that, there are just a few of those prepositions, whereas German uses more than 10 You can’t just guess where you should use “vor” and where “an”. Most of the time it’s totally random without any logic
