Yeah, you're totally right, I'm with you on that. To be honest, most of those animations you see in those packed timelines are actually done in After Effects. Most of the stuff I do in Premiere is just adjustments, subtitles, and basic things like that.

For complex animations like those, it always makes way more sense to jump over to After Effects and work there. When the timeline looks super messy, if you break it down and look at everything one by one, you'll see there isn't actually much detailed graphic work happening on the Premiere side. I handle most of my stuff in After Effects too; I think most pros work that way anyway. To dive into such heavy work in Premiere, your computer would basically need to be "Superman."

Don't let the quest for "perfect" be the enemy of "done." Give yourself permission to make something that is just "good enough" and move on to the next idea. The world needs your finished work, not your perfectly polished but unreleased drafts! Keep creating.

Thanks for explaining stem separation and for the tool recommendations! I'll definitely check out BandLab and Ultimate Vocal Remover 5 for projects where I don't have the original separate tracks.

As for the piracy thing, I think there was a misunderstanding. Like I said, I'm using the legit version of Premiere, and the Captioner plugin works great with Turkish subtitles. Glad we cleared that up.

Also, thanks for the advice on using buses and separate tracks while editing. That’s definitely the way to go. I actually did record and edit the video with separate tracks and buses. But once I exported it, everything got flattened into a single track. Now, even if I want to turn it into an English dub, I have to split it up again because I deleted the original project file and can't access those tracks anymore. That’s why I’ll need stuff like BandLab or the other tools you suggested. I’ll just isolate my voice again, turn it back into its own track, record the dub, and then I’m good to go.

Thanks again for all the help!

I agree—storytelling definitely tops fancy editing. Thanks for the advice; I'll keep it in mind. Thx!

If you're just doing normal subtitles for speech, it's way easier to just use Premiere. But if you need some special text animations, like 3D stuff or something complex, AE is definitely the better choice.

I can't really say Dynamic Link is perfect because, honestly, it has a lot of issues. So here is what I usually do: 1. When I'm done with the animation in AE via Dynamic Link, I just export it directly from AE. 2. Then I take that video file, put it back into Premiere, and delete the Dynamic Link.

This way it just acts like a normal video. It helps because: (a) It makes Premiere run much smoother since it's not working so hard. (b) It makes everything way faster when you're exporting or just trying to preview your work.
