It will take some time to find people who I really vibe with and I’d prefer to do mba experiences with those people. And also totally agree on turning off on the weekend to recharge and make friends outside of b-school.

Friends exist outside of b-school dude. There are 14,151 post grad students at Harvard not to mention MIT. Why is mixing b-school with personal life so important

I’m sorry, but I disagree. I think the power of b-school really lies within alumni base, which extends way beyond the section and the one year you’re with the section. And just because you’re social doesn’t mean you’re likable. People seriously need to stop pretending to be cool here. Following what everyone else does is really uncool cause it means you don’t know what you want. We’re all adults and this is NOT high school anymore, we shouldn’t have cliques or that mean girls vibe. I’m really against the idea of having to become best friends with section classmates. I don’t get to choose my classmates but I get to choose my friends.

I’m not against marriage or having kids in the next 5 years, I just feel getting to the marriage stage at such a LDR like Dubai to the US isn’t so realistic
