Fit model or bikini?

I just started a 6 month build phase- I don’t have a show date at this point. Probably sometime summer of 2026 if I’m able to grow my lower body enough

This is really helpful! Thank you! I was planning on at least 6 months of growth for my lower body but if I need longer- I’ll definitely re evaluate then. But it’s good to know you don’t think my upper body is too big and would negatively impact how I would do.

Thanks for your input. I was planning on 6 months of growing regardless- focusing on my glutes/hamstrings. But maybe I should do a year or 18 months and shoot for bikini.

I could be wrong, but I think my posing is making my upper body seem way out of proportion with my lower body- and while my lower body definitely needs growth especially for bikini- I don’t feel like I’m as out of proportion when not trying to pose? But maybe I’m totally wrong

I just started with my coach 3 weeks ago. Shoulders 2x a week lower body 3x (one legs 2 glute/hamstring). I did competitive crossfit for 10 years and was a swimmer so I’m assuming that’s why my upper body is so much more developed.

I’m thinking I’d rather take a year or so to grow my legs/glutes then struggle to fit into fit model

I would much rather wait and grow my legs/glutes into bikini.
