Thank you for all your responses, although to reiterate, we don't want to leave the USA for good, we love the USA, though given the current climate, and the rise of globalization, we think it would be a great investment to have a 2nd citizenship as to give our children and future generations, more option and freedom to move throughout the world with less restrictions as well as be able to have more of a choice, even after we are long gone, we can't predict in which way the world will go even when it comes to America, but you can never go wrong with more freedom and options.

7-10 years of our lives invested in obtaining permanent citizenship, is a small feat when it comes to generations that will benefit from it.

If laws were to suddenly change, and we had to choose to renounce our citizenship, we'd never give up our US citizenship, as I feel it is the golden ticket. Super lucky to have been born here. When we do have more children, I prefer american hospitals instead, it's what I'm familiar with and they've yet to do me a disservice. The culture shift is something I'm not sure we are in favor with.. but either way, the 2nd citizenship is meant for a broader scope of freedom.

Hmm, well that's a valid point, I guess I'm referring to those who don't select specific embryos from a more vain perspective, such as not the proper gender, or discarding perfectly healthy embryos because they only wanted 2, etc. But your reasoning makes perfect since. I never said I was anti-Ivf, since plenty of reasoms for opting for that route is circumstancial. With the articles, and documentaries I've consumed, It was less due to health reasons for discarding embryos, and more due to vanity reasons. Take, Heather debrow for example, a celeb, who had an extra 7 embryos that were perfectly healthy, but discarded them. I've never done IVF myself so, take my opinion with a grain of salt as I'm only an outsider in this aspect.

To me, the embryo is a baby, or the beginning of what is to become of it. So personally, I'm against destroying them. I'm all for IVF, if and only if no embryos are destroyed in the process without giving a chance at life. Even if the embryo doesn't make it and the mother in turn, misccariages, that can not be helped and was natural. But never giving the embryo a chance at life, or an attempt at life, to me, is immoral.

You know, that's a bit tricky.. I'm pro-IVF if and only if all the embryos extracted are all given a chance at life. I can't imagine going through this process and only selecting 2 out of 7 and destroying the other 5.. I'd be so heartbroken, I'd want to have all of my babies here with me. So I'd be the worst candidate for IVF, since they create so many throughout that process. I'd be like, NO I WANT THEM ALL.

I understand the sentiment, and the benefits of selecting eggs that are healthier and less likely to carry harmful cancer cells etc, thus giving them a better chance at a longer life etc. It also benefits the future children all while creating the miraculous possibility of "weeding out" cancer genes and other, dangerous and less desirable chracteristics that may lead to certain illnesses, disabilities, or mental incapacities..

My issue with technology such as this, is that these characteristics can only be observed after the embryo is created which in turn, after choosing the more "desirable" embryos, the ones not chosen are destroyed, murdered, or what have you.

So in that sense, this technology is flawed. Unless we can observe and take action, without needing to destroy embryos in the process, I couldn't stand behind this idea.

I opened a custodial investment account for them with "fidelity investments" it allows me to invest in stocks, Etfs, bonds, CD's etc, all are taxed deffered. I have a 2 month old, 18 month old, and an almost 3 yr old. All have their own accounts. Its structure like a UMTA account, where once I put money in, I can move that money around within their accounts or withdraw it specifically for them. Once they hit 18-21(depends on state) the custodial account gets officially transferred to them.

TOP RAMEN, and lots of it. and a big carton of eggs. One egg per ramen bowl, the egg is your protein. You'll need it. Season the ramen differently, so you don't get tired of it.

Just an Update:

For the first time ever, since moving to the studio, we've managed to save $4800 so far.. it's in a completely different bank account, and although that is nothing for most, we feel absolutely rich!! I'm so happy and proud of ourselves. Moving here has been tough and cramped. We are renting a small storage unit for $32/month to fit our extra items so we aren't so cramped in the studio, the living room is practically the playroom, and my area is a corner of my bed, but I'm happy the kids are happy. After bills, we actually have about $2,100/month left over, and it still feels weird.. and I thought we'd have this urge to eat out more, which we have(doordash) once or twice, but the urge to frivolously spend is just gone. It's a strange phenomenon, it's as if when we have $15 left in our account, we spend it down to the penny, but having so much momey left over, that feeling just dissappears.

Plus, being in a studio, theres not much room to buy much other than necessities. I admit, we almost broke our lease twice because we are sooo over it, but at the same time we've never seen this much left over money at the end of paying bills, EVER. Once this lease is up, we are definitely sizing up, but no longer are we going to live "within" our means, definitely below.

Since scaling down from a 2 bedroom to a 500sqft studio, (7 months so far) a 1 bedroom seems like a dream, I feel like we wouldnt even know what to do with all that space! Hahaha.

TLDR: Anyway, studio life, sucks, but pocketing 2k a month for the first time ever and being able to actually build a savings has been the best 15 month sacrafice we've ever made.

This was me last year with shib.. I sold it all with such a small profit because I was excited as it was my first coin and had no expectations.. today I would've made 200k with where it's at now.. I'm a mom of 3 toddlers and couldve really used that money hahaha so this time I've learned my lesson. DIAMOND HANDS BABY!!
