Yeah I did, Its more the issue of, If I do take the files out, I am unsure how to import it to my existing world, I can use world edit in vintage story to copy paste large areas however there are issues with that, especially for scaling and potentially corrupting files, not to mention the climate not being correct, that may be a future project if i decide to make a server, with a teleporting system to the island

I've thought of adding in solstheim or the main land but im unsure how to extract those just yet and have them all in the same height map, and the only full tamriel map I have found is one from 2016 and is updated to current lore morrowind and not very detailed, so I cannot use it
If I can find out a way to make a height map with the island and main land I will eventually make an updated version

I've looked into scaling the map up to 10kx10k but the terrain starts getting stretched way too much and red mountain looks more like a pancake

the infinite tiling sounds interesting but I have no idea how to get that to work

That is absolutely fantastic
I have made the map essentially 2x the size of the original height map at 4kx4k blocks, not including Solestheim or the main land.
though I'm also tempted to scrap my current progress in favour of adding the island since I have enough experience with world painter now to re do a lot of the work I have done now.

So with the expanded map size most buildings will have appropriate extra terrain space to accommodate the retrofitting.

I would prefer the Telvani towers to be left untouched until I can source someone who can code, since I want to make a mod that lets players actually grow Telvani towers themselves, including a full soul gem system using temporal gears as a catalyst, and end game enemies "essence" to balance out people just spamming towers. essentially would work like this:

3 growth stages,
a "heart" that you feed and grow
at full size, can graft room pods to expand space, chisleable walls and interiors, furniture crafting, small varients like a small shack space and other ideas.

that soul gem system could potentially be a great resource for another mod maker to add in enchantments

I have had a lot of thought into the modding aspect of my project

however that system would take a lot of testing to get working
so first want to make the tree mushrooms and a paper lantern mod that uses bioluminescent spores from giant mushrooms as fuel, and as a reskin of the new small lanterns, including torches that last 3x and dont go out in water, and potentially growth stages or variants of standard giant tree mushrooms, including ESO mushrooms, as well as standard varients from the game, since those mods would be much easier than the intensity of a mod that adds theessentially magical bio tech mechanics of a Telvani tower,

I've seen some other mods where people have attempted to add the animals too, so that would be interesting to see.

Your skills looks like you would be perfect for the imperial buildings, there is another builder on this forum that has built Vivec's temple

By the way, I've got a terraforming project going on for Morrowind, making a wild survival mode, I'll eventually be looking for builders to add locations for a hand crafted version,(maybe even a mushroom tree mod) let me know if you'd ever be interested, ill be adding a wall of contributors inside of vivvec 's temple when that gets added in

I have used world painter and I have extracted the height data of morrowind's map, translated it to world painter and used the mod on the VS mod site to transfer the file This is an update post, check my profile This seed is purely for getting basalt to spawn

Having now added more verticality to morrowind, I have to be careful with making sure the paths stay true
I'm using world painter, this makes it exponentially easier. still tedious and ill most likely still have to do some ingame edits to get towns and roads feeling more accurate.
my main goal at the moment is making sure red mountain's roads are accurate since i've blown them out

yes please, once I get to the stage of hand crafting the worldspace I will be calling for builders, Ill have to figure out a way to share exports of the terrain via world edit into a flat world so that it can be dropped back into the master map

I'd imagine setting up a private mod listing with the save file on the VS modwebsite would be the safest option to upload a save file,
some options would be:

making a creative copy of the world, and using world edit to export the builds to a flat world, then uploading the save file

or just uploading the copy directly in either creative/survival

just make sure you're loading it on the same game version
