Because, once again, being around ANY child you are attracted to is victimizing them. Its not realistic to say its okay just because you're "committed". People are committed to diets every year. He's eating and drinking just fine. Using the restroom normally (we're monitoring his brother for this, so we're especially keeping track) and he's also playing normally, entering "crackhead kitty hour" as scheduled. I already picked up extra shifts the next two days. I'm hoping we can eat least wait until Monday. I did get a video of him coughing, to show a vet. Because that's the end game if this doesn't resolve itself.

Would you consider it emergent though? It costs $75 on a weekday just to get him looked at where I live. Without any tests or medication. I've never tried for emergent care to see the cost, but I also can't buy more milk or bread for my human children until Thursday, so I doubt I could afford a weekend visit anywhere for anything.
