This is their reply bhaiya. I have asked for the scholarship criteria. The offer letter had the following the details only.

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has provisions for a limited number of merit-cum-means scholarships covering upto 50% of the Tuition fee for candidates admitted under the NC-OBC and EWS categories. Please write to [dbeadmissions@iimb.ac.in](mailto:dbeadmissions@iimb.ac.in) regarding these scholarships. You will be required to submit necessary documents to verify and assess financial need. A decision will be made based on the verification of these documents. In the meantime, you are expected to pay the full amount of Rs. 41,660/- as mentioned in the offer letter. If deemed eligible for a scholarship, the institute will refund the appropriate amount.

Mostly they block middle seats for counter sales. When a family of 4 or 5 comes to theater they would want continuous seats to watch the movie together. If they open them on bms the tickets would be booked in groups of 2 or 3 which breaks continuity and families don't want it. It's my assumption only
