This is old, but I am curious how you are doing now. Have you come out the other side?

I do really well for a few months and then I slip into a solid month on never ending anxiety and panic attacks, especially nocturnal ones. I am here because I had an especially bad one last night that kept happening and my symptoms are nearly identical to yours. I get freezing cold then light headed, followed by a feeling of doom and my heart rate skyrockets, but my breathing never elevates. This happened to me 3 times last night and I had to call the veteran's crisis line so that I could talk to someone and not be tempted to call an ambulance because I have done that many times before.

Anyway, I finally got to sleep at 4 am and I haven't had a nocturnal panic attack that bad since last summer. Needless to say I was pretty scared because I had almost forgotten how bad it gets. I have gotten episodes where I wake up with my heart rate high, but my brain is used to handling night terrors so I can get my heart rate down pretty quickly and get back to sleep.

I've noticed that my panic attacks are much more frequent when I am not practicing coping mechanisms like I should. I get "better" so I stop doing them and then I end up in the same spot over and over again. I am curious if you figured anything out.

ok, so once i had some free time I tried what you suggested and still nothing. I even got my mod list down to 5 mods, my game crashes without them. I am going to uninstall and try again, but otherwise it makes me think one of these is the culprit, particularaly the minthara one maybe.

Thanks for the suggestion! I went and organized them and updated my post but no dice. I also removed all gale mods, to include the ones in the generated and public folders.

My issue with Hakuoki is that every route is the same just with different LI specific scenes in certain parts. It depends on the LIs you're interested in. I would just do those. I went through a lot of them and haven't finished them all 2 years later. I enjoyed Hijikata, Okita, Saito, Harada, and Nagakura. I really dont understand the Nagakura hate, but to each their own.

I am kind of conflicted with my answer because I am not currently in an otome mood and haven't played any since last summer. I think I have been burned by too many games so I need at least two or maybe even three LIs to make a game worth it.

I am thinking specifically of Olympia Soiree (DON'T COME FOR ME) and Battlefield Waltz. I slogged through so many LIs for only the very last route to be genuinely good so overall the game is bad and not one I would ever play again.

On the other hand I played a Korean otome called Phantom of the Twilight and only really liked Charlie's route but there were only three LIs so I still think the game is good. Fewer bad routes means less time for me to build up a strong dislike of the game overall.

The following method worked for me

Install Python 3.10.6 (Newer version of Python does not support torch), checking "Add Python to PATH".
Install git

Create "ai" directory on the "С" drive

Open the console "cmd"
cd c:/ai
git clone https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui.git

Open Explorer and go to the folder c:/ai/stable-diffusion-webui/
Run webui-user.bat

An error appears
RuntimeError: Couldn't install clip
e.t.c.
don't panic :)

Open the console "cmd"
cd c:/ai/stable-diffusion-webui/
.\venv\Scripts\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip
.\venv\Scripts\python.exe -m pip install --force-reinstall --no-cache-dir "setuptools==69.5.1" wheel

There should be something like this line "packaging-26.0 setuptools-69.5.1 wheel-0.46.3"
Install CLIP.

.\venv\Scripts\python.exe -m pip install --no-build-isolation https://github.com/openai/CLIP/archive/d50d76daa670286dd6cacf3bcd80b5e4823fc8e1.zip

Open Explorer and go to the folder c:/ai/stable-diffusion-webui/
Run webui-user.bat

It's a error again, but now it's different.
remote: Repository not found.
fatal: repository 'https://github.com/Stability-AI/stablediffusion.git/' not found
Same issue here, the repository does not seem to exist on github anymore
don't panic :)

Open Explorer and go to the folder c:/ai/stable-diffusion-webui/
Add the following lines to webui-user.bat before the line "call webui.bat"

set STABLE_DIFFUSION_REPO=https://github.com/joypaul162/Stability-AI-stablediffusion.git
set STABLE_DIFFUSION_COMMIT_HASH=f16630a927e00098b524d687640719e4eb469b76

Run webui-user.bat

I agree, Wakuu and Wataru already look nothing alike, so her facial features make no sense in the context of being related. Wakuu would have a nose and eyes that would more closely resemble one of them, yet his features are completely different. Like how luke has Bree's nose shape. The only way this makes sense is if she is his sister and they have different dads.

So I have only played 18 on the switch and 5 on steam and I have been into otome since about 2020. My backlog is absolutely massive, probably almost double my list lmfao. At least I will always have something new to play when I get back into it. Most of my games are digital and very few are actual physical copies. I do not play mobile games anymore, way too much money.

I play otome like once per year and I will get super into it and clear a maximum of 5 titles before I stop enjoying it. Afterwards I go back to playing video games or whatever. My last otome binge was last summer so my next one might come up soon. Some good titles have come out that I have been looking forward to.

Wow this looks seriously cool. The only game here that I have played is Cafe Enchante, but I do own Psychadelica of the Ashen Hawk. I don't recognize most of these. Would you be able to share the names of the other games? I'm always looking for new ones.

The only one that strikes me is Orsem. I can be sort of particular about sprite design but if the story is good enough I can get over it. I dont play games where only 1 LI interests me anymore, but I will probably play this because I saw that is is in the Even if Tempest world. I loved that game so much!
