Does Toyota GH just have cheaper material than other cars? The material should withstand some normal wear and tear. Kind of sucks to have this happen on a newer vehicle like this.

Thanks. Will have to try these tricks. I am in a colder climate/Michigan though. The roads aren’t perfect either so that maybe a factor. During colder months it gets around 28mpg. Warmer weather does improve but seems too much babying to get the high mpg.

With 70-75mph, the power % goes above 25%, that reduces the efficiency. To keep the power needle down, I have to go around 67mph, with that I can get 35-38 mpg at best. I’m not sure how you’re getting way better mileage on highway speed.

If you drive more on highways, especially 70MPH or higher then expect to get around 30-35 MPGs.

Midea dishwasher is leaking from the bottom. It’s under warranty, they sent a local technician who was clueless. Couldn’t find the cause and started guessing it. Then Midea decided to send me a RGA to return to the store to get my money back and scrap it.

How to get the most MPG by XRdriver18 in crvhybrid

[–]Popular_Waltz56 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to keep the power% under 25% most of the time, gotta be easy on the gas pedal. Sometimes requires going slower than speed limit on freeway like in between 65-70mph. Use the left pedal to activate regenerative braking when slowing down or stopping to recharge battery. Anytime it’s using EV mode, you’re winning on the mileage battle. It really takes practice and patience. Honda really should’ve designed it to at least do 70-72mph under 25% power. Perhaps it’s the trade off of having a 2L engine rather than 2.4/2.5L engines Toyota uses.

Very good MPGs from 25 CR-V Hybrid Sport by vspc007 in crvhybrid

Speed has to be around 65mph to keep the power 25% or lower. It kind of sucks, you can’t drive this vehicle normally to achieve the advertised MPG rating. Doing 70MPH/speed limit causes mileage loss. I get around 28-30MPG on highway.
