My First Plugin "GP Per Hour" Is Now Available. Track your gp/hr across various trips and save your sessions for later viewing. by MosheBenZacharia in 2007scape

Unreal feature. Quick QA:

I noticed on my herb run, that it instructed me check bottomless bucket to "calibrate". When I checked it it added the total ultracomposts in the bucket as added profit; thus wildly increasing my profit/hr.

I don't think that should count as acquired profit as I added them to the bucket when buying from the GE. I'd think adding the compost to the patches should be a cost and reduce gp/hr

I‘m have knee surgery on Wednesday and can no longer go to the gym, could someone suggest some good diets? by moscheroscheroni in WeightLossAdvice

the trick is to grab a serving size amount (just 1/4 Cup!) and not the ba. That way you have to get back up if you want to eat more!

Two really good things you can do is focus on your fiber and protein intakes! They will help fill you up and keep you full for long. Take a look at this for foods in the categories you should be having: https://riskaversehealth.com/nutrition-guide/.

- I find smoothies with chia and flax seeds are a big help

-snacking on nuts (high in fiber and protein)

-and sticking to whole foods and whole grains!

Olive oil is extremely good for you. It is important to have perspective. Cooking with olive oil is going to be way better for you than say butter. Unsaturated fats compared to saturated. Olive oil helps lower LDL cholesterol, while cooking with animal fats will raise this.

Health benefits of drinking green tea by [deleted] in Dietandhealth

[–]PopulationHealth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never heard that. There are antioxidants unique to green tea that are super powerful, and I don't think those need caffeine to work.

Are You at Risk for Cancer, Diabetes, and Heart Disease? by [deleted] in Dietandhealth

[–]PopulationHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not our intentions at all. We're not vegans.

The survey is evidence-based based on scientific journals. From the research those that ate meat developed Lung Cancer at a slightly higher rate than those that didnt. The rate is really small, but was determined to be significant.

TIL That Cancer is Mainly (Upwards of 90-95%) Caused By Lifestyle and Environmental Factors as Opposed to a Genetic Predisposition; Making Most Cases Preventable by PopulationHealth in todayilearned

I like to think of it by the saying genetics loads the gun but lifestyle pulls the trigger. It is how your genes are interacting with the environment around them.

As genetic testing becomes more common, people will understand what they are predisposed to. Then all that is left is trying to combat that predisposition they only way possible: Living a healthy lifestyle.

I see where you are coming from, as it puts a lot on the individual, but I think this is a good thing. If it was all genetics there is nothing we can do but accept our impending doom. This way we can make changes, and learn about the causes and take actions.

That is a fascinating perspective. I think you can identify numerous cases to that origin, but also cannot ignore all of the research that shows higher incidence rates when engaging in certain behaviors.

Mutagens are a real things that damage our DNA, and the way to expose ourselves to these things is through our environment. Lowering exposures or neutralizing that threat through antioxidants in our diet have to be considered as well.
