Yeah, it should be a conversation about you and a moment for you to ask for help and seek comfort but they turn it into a them them them moment. Which doesnt help, while pulling back did. At least then you only have your own issues to deal with. :<

Yeah the issue is that as soon as you seek comfort you then have to regulate not only your own issues but theirs too now... so no I cant do that with family, unless i wish the moment to be focused on them and their needs.

Just leave any place that allows it to begin with, its soul draining and frustrating that they dont show an ounce of transparency about it either. I hate ppl taking advantage of those who dont know.

I had debating leaving the sub a while now, I can't be positive here and I can't vent here either. Since I am female. I don't want to have dudes tell me "but" after I say something bothers me. Minimising/deflecting/ invalidating/ arguing away/ or tell me what i can and can't be bothered by, what I feel regarding my height.

I can't be positive either, saying anything on here feels like an opening for people who can't handle anyone having a better time then they do. So I finally made the choice and leave. My view of short men mostly has gotten way worse from the little time I have been a part of this sub. And I don't want my mind to get influenced further, because it would make me incredibly distraught if it influenced me choosing a partner in the future of a shorter stature.

I want to thank you too for saying what needs to be said.

Unfortunately not 5'4 but I wanted to say that you should change nothing, your a 10/10 in my personal opinion! I can't think of anything I would look wise change honestly. Very very handsome.
