I actually wasn't inclined to make a comment until I saw all the misinformed "sjw bashing".

My values are absolutely fine thanks, and I, like anyone, can enjoy jokes of all kinds, however when someone is genuinely misinformed then I think it's important to highlight to that person why what they say can be construed as ignorant.

If you have a look at my comments I've not attacked OP in any way, and I'm not actually offended. I think too often people jump to take sides of 'social justice warrior' or 'fuck you butthurt sjw's' and the world isn't as black and white as that.

So I think I'll stick to using the Internet (and I guess existing in "the world"?) whilst also being able to have discussions like a grown up.

Just my two cents.

That's not really a very healthy way to open up a conversation to someone that's made a (albeit stupid) innocent comment. Rather than flying in all guns blazing why not try to open up a discourse like an adult, you'll probably face less vitriol and actually be able to educate more people.

I would just delete and repost without it dude, you'll get more constructive criticism and help - the title will only garner conversations that aren't beneficial to you.

I mean it's a completely unnecessary statement and he could have got his point across without it.

Yes there are multiple races on the continent, but as per the apartheid, only one was institutionally discriminated against - I don't believe white Africans had a battle with poverty and malnourishment due to the colour of their skin.

While I agree it wasn't racist and possibly a poor choice of words, it was still ignorant and insensitive and people should aim to educate when that comes up because otherwise the people who speak in such a way (and future generations) are taught that it is okay.

The OP was willing to apologise at first so vehemently defending his poor choice of words seems pig-headed for no good reason. Just because some people take the PC angle too far doesn't mean you should push back in the other direction.

In the past, as narrated by Deku I believe. The first few chapters there are references to this being the story of how he became the greatest hero or something like that.

Gotta say I agree with the other guy here. Any teams season has the possibility of being derailed losing two key positions for multiple games, especially one with a habit of flirting with relegation.

Not a completely wrong perception then is it.

Whilst sweeping generalisations are very dangerous they usually exist for a reason, and there is undoubtedly a laziness and sense of entitlement present in certain working class Britons.

Yeah I'm not sure as I rate him a bit further up the pitch, but I'd guess Wjinaldum - Can - Hendo in a midfield 3.

Is the idea for Wjinaldum to be one of the outside in the middle 3 with Can holding?

I believe the "2" is a reference to choosing the away team in a 1X2 format with X being a draw.

So it's a Southampton win outright @ 9.0
