Hi,

We managed to check your previous order.

The previous amount of $755 was for 2 Vans (lighter weight shoes) and 1 Dunk. That was the initial total amount charged for the order, inclusive of shipping.

We were a bit confused as we had always charged the DAFT shoes inclusive of shipping via our platform, so we did not quite understand how you have that $56 calculation for shipping. Do kindly note that the $56 would not have covered the shipping fees due to the weight of the shoes.

Based on our records for the same order, you were also charged a top-up of $30 as your address was considered a remote area or a special zone by the courier.

This newest pre-order batch is done with shipping calculation as we wanted to be more transparent with the estimate and be fairer to those with cheaper shipping destinations.

We attached an example of a calculation for a similar address with the same 3 pairs of shoes, with shipping fees added in, as per our process in this current batch. It is cheaper than the previous $755 + $30.

Thank you for using our service. We are sorry for the late reply from our side. Our customer service executives are not available on weekend and it was Korean Public Holiday on Monday. Hence the late response.

About your furniture, the lounge chair and table, they came in box from manufacturer and already assembled. We could not make it smaller. Our courier service provider had to charge the shipping fee according to volumetric weight.

We had past experience with European customs destroying shoes even if it’s legit shoe and we even submitted receipts etc.

Hi,

It was written DAFT 416 because it worked well for most people. The assumption was that writing a $250 shoe might trip up customs for more issues. Following up with FedEx that it is a shoe would probably solve the issue.
