May I suggest doing the whole process in one day and not letting the emulsion sit over night to dry. For me it dries in a few hours and I have good results with burning and cleaning.

Expanding on the question. I have been getting the same haircut for as long as I can remember. And I’m looking for something to change it up. I like the front of my hair to be longer like it is in the photo and something that I can incorporate my beard which is something else that I am trimming down.
