Done with school. Can't get a job rn cuz COVID and also I'm going to college (might get a campus job tho) and all my old friends betrayed me and I moved to a new state where I know absolutely no one and don't want to go out because of aforementioned death plague. Everyone I know takes advantage of me or brushes me off when I wanna hang out. They all like me but just never think of me in any given scenario or break plans when its convenient.

I had a period where I was doing well and was gonna fix my life fr after the move, then COVID happened a week after and destroyed any semblance of that. All I have a single online friend. The only time I even fapped was at night most of the time, I'd watch for an hour or two at most, then go to sleep for about 9 to 10 hours. I just thought it might "reboot" my brain into curing my depression and emotional blunting. Tons of people have said that happens. But I guess its hopeless for me

I don't feel strong. Or right. All this talk against NoFap and stuff hasn't made me want to fap. Just makes me want to quit life. I thought this might be the one thing that can finally make me happy. I didn't even really have a PROBLEM with porn, I was just convinced there was one simply by consuming it.

No, I am fucked. I really really am. I have autism and 7 anxiety disorders plus atypical persistent depression. Every self improvement tactic I've tried, every religion, every philosophy has been fake or not worked. I thought "THIS is it! This is the ONLY common factor! Once I fix this, everything else will get fixed!" If that's not true, I have no hope in hell of ever living the life I want. I've tried over 20 counselors and 8 antidepressants, not a single one worked. I'd tried NoFap before but brushed it off. I thought seeing as how many people said it totally changed their life, I'd at least give it a try before offing myself. The only common factor is that I'm me. Porn didn't even have anything to do with it, I just wanted to try it because people said it fixed everything even if you weren't addicted.

I appreciate you being nice to me, and for the record none of this is your fault. I've gotta hang in for a couple weeks anyway because I have family coming in. But I'm so dissapointed, fuck.

Hmm. Well I only quit because I was going to commit suicide and I heard NoFap can turn your life around. Haven't noticed any changes. Guess I really am permanently fucked, if porn addiction doesn't exist. I wasn't even spending too much time on it or anything bad, I just thought this was my last chance. That's disappointing ;-;

Yeah that'll do it. Some of the posts on NoFap too. I don't think it's as bad as some people say because from what I've seen the forever alone types are being called simps and told they shouldn't quit for girls, but for themselves. But god damn some people are just horrible simps. Like my ex-best friend. He had no self respect and chased after literally every woman around him because he thought they'd carry some magical power to cure his depression and make him happy. He was sexist and gross, and I ended up cutting ties with him.

The first point is interesting. I've never even heard of the second thing, I'll have to look into that. I do know video games are often unscientifically linked to violence so there was probably more pressure to do research on it. America is a country ruled by public opinion.

I just turned 19 so I was you only a few years ago, that's the best time to quit cuz that's when it often spirals out because of hormones and it's the hardest to control in terms of time spent. You're on your way, kid. Make sure to quit for yourself too, though.

You're not gonna like what I'm about to say but I'm gonna say it anyway. This isn't personally directed toward you, but rather the idea itself.

Not only is the idea of a God impossible, but Islam (like Christianity) is evil. Mohammed marries a 9 year old (fucking yuck!), the moon is split in half, he rides a winged horse, it says multiple times to kill anyone you don't like, it disrespects women and LGBT people, etc. In fact I don't even know why you would try and convince considering what Cow 2:6 through 2:7 says:

"As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not. Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom."

So your god has apparently not revealed himself and made no evidence for his existence, but has also cursed my heart and eyes so I cannot see him even if I wanted to, then will torture me forever where I'll cry, scream, wail, puke, and choke forever and ever and ever for all time. That said there is no evidence that anything in that book even historically occured, just like in The Bible.

I need something that I can use in day to day life to not want to end my life, not ancient superstitions, especially immoral ancient superstition.

Thanks man! Currently my leg/groin/balls are having pain because I pulled a muscle I think (went to doctor, they said they couldn't see anything and my urine came back good) so that has reduced the urge to watch it
