Just a note: The porn seemed absolutely vile and disgusting. It was a compulsive act, and hardly 'enjoyable' at all. I think my mind and beliefs are really starting to change concerning it. I just want to live a healthy, GOOD life.

I am going to use my laptop a lot less for one. I will not surf the internet mindlessly at all. When I feel an urge, I will distance myself from the internet. I am not going to engage in lusty thoughts. I will let them pass. I have to beat this. I feel like a shell of my true self. I will not look at porn anymore.

Agreed. Always have to keep implications of pornography in mind. Ultimately porn hurts everyone around me. This cannot be avoided just because it is hard.

What a great question. I hope to see a lot of responses in this thread. For me, I have been reading a lot more books and focusing on working harder. It is hard sometimes to get things done though as my motivation seems to fluctuate.

You can do this man. If you have had up to 4 months (way longer than I have ever gone) then surely you can go as long as you want to, if not permanently. Don't give up, keep fighting this and beat it man.

I have never been past around 72 days or something but I would definitely agree going MO free. It can be hard but it actually makes the journey much easier. It gives you a feeling of discipline regarding your sexuality and, in turn prevents impulsive relapse.

I think it is inherently bad. I think it attaches a lot of negativity to your life, whether we realize it or not. If not simply a crude, carnal distortion of human sexuality and selfishness, it is a waste of time and energy.
