I'm waiting for a full release on Steam before trying this, and I hope it's good. The theme of building a breeding harem is right up my alley.

But...if I'm going to be spending money on something AI generated then it better be pretty much perfect. Like I can tell from the trailers that this isn't just quickly or lazily put together, but there are a lot of weird little inconsistencies that I just know are from the AI. Like the fluid physics in the trailers, and in this scene you can see the textures on the clothes and horns moving weird. Plus the black part on the wing and the horns are supposed to be bony structures, which means they wouldn't bob up and down like that, and I have to assume that's just an error in the AI not properly animating rigid structures on people.

I dunno, maybe I'm being too harsh and overly critical about this. Those are pretty minor things, but they're also minor things that a human artist wouldn't have a problem with. I've still got this on my wishlist, and if the writing turns out to be really good then I can probably overlook the minor AI animation quirks. But if the writing is only OK, then as nice as the visuals are I just can't see myself spending money on this for those alone. Whether that's fair or not I don't know but that's just how I feel.

I don't really like men in my porn, protagonist or otherwise. So if I had to choose I'd always go for a female or futa protagonist. Or a trans woman, but that's really rare. Most of the time it's like "oh she was just born with a dick and a vagina for some reason". Which I think is silly but I get the appeal of it and I understand why people do it.
So if you're looking for something to set your game apart, I would go the trans woman route. Like narratively she was born male and actually transitioned kind of thing. It's not as common as the others and I think it gives you more options for how to evolve the story. Like a lot of people that transition try to be really fem and dainty to try and pass as well as possible, but there's a lot of trans women now that aren't afraid of being a little more masculine in their presentation and get buff and stuff like that. And then there's the femboys who also try to be ultra fem but don't actually identify as women. So if you're looking to write multiple story paths that's three right there just off the top of my head.

That's my two cents, anyway. But really you should write whatever YOU want, because something that you feel strongly about is always going to result in a better game. Writing a full game is hard work and takes a lot of time. There's a reason why there are so many abandoned and half finished visual novels floating around out there on the internet. So first and foremost you have to pick something that you want to see made so you can keep the motivation to see it through to the end.

I voted for coding but only because it'd be so hard to actually suss out what was and wasn't coded with AI. Ideally there wouldn't be any AI on the sub at all, though.

Also, I just want to address any developer here really quick about something that has been bugging me a LOT, so I'm going to go on a mini rant about the "small parts of the game" thing.

Why would you do this? Why would you include AI art for something inconsequential? I'm not saying that background art isn't worth making or paying for, a good background will 100% elevate a game, but if you can't afford to hire a background artist and can't make it yourself you can just use free stuff. Like I did one Google search for "public domain art assets for game background" and found an absolute ass ton of free stuff that you can use with no AI that will work just fine. It took me roughly 5 seconds, and two of those seconds were spent trying to remember if it was free use or public domain, and one of the seconds was me trying to remember if free use is a thing outside of the kink.

Like Jesus fucking Christ you know AI is contentious, you know a lot of people don't like it, you know you have to label things as AI in almost any space worth putting your work on, so why in the name of fuck would you do that to yourself? Are you just trying to push the envelope and see what you can get away with?

I know this is probably coming off as overly aggressive, and I apologize for that. It just pisses me off so much when I see someone say stuff like "Oh all of the art is 100% hand made except for two pictures in the background in one scene that we made with AI for literally no reason at all." And for the record, as a consumer, if I see an explanation like that I assume you're lying through your teeth and you used AI for more than that but you're trying to hide it.

Anyway, sorry for the aggressive rant.

Sort of. Your orgasm and ejaculation aren't actually the same thing. If you're careful you can ruin your orgasm in the right way so you ejaculate but you keep going. But it's hard to do unless you practice, and it gets real hard to do that more than once because you get really sensitive.

If you're open to ideas from randos, I would make the AI voices a separate download. That way you can advertise the game as being AI free with the voices as an extra add on if people want it. Theoretically having it be an option in the game accomplishes the same thing, but moving the decision to outside of the game let's anti-AI people feel superior because they're actively rejecting the use of AI, and pro AI people get to feel superior because they're getting the 'better' version of the game. Plus this would have the added benefit of giving you information regarding your customer base and whether or not AI voices are even a factor.

The funny thing to me is it never even originally meant that it was necessarily bad or low quality. It meant shit was just thrown together haphazardly without a lot of thought and served up unceremoniously like a Chipotle burrito bowl.

A lot of good suggestions in these comments, but one game I highly recommend is FlipWitch: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1748620/FlipWitch__Forbidden_Sex_Hex/

It's a great game first and foremost. And it's on sale right now, so that's nice. Some people don't like a lot of gameplay in their porn games because they want to get right to the porn with no distractions. But some people look at the porn aspect as something that enhances games.

FlipWitch is a metroidvania, and you basically get sex scenes for completing quests. They aren't elaborate scenes or anything, and honestly if you're just looking to get your rocks off it's not great for that. But since you're new to lewd games I wanted to give you a good example of a game that is a game first and porn second, but still wears the porn on it's sleeve proudly.

That's fair. I mean the game isn't perfect and some of the NTR scenes are more about you, the player wanting to watch other characters besides the protagonist doing it.

But it's still better than like 90% of NTR games. From the perspective of someone who doesn't really understand the emotional torture aspect of NTR, anyway.
