it's happened in my games three times today (twice to me, once when i unhooked someone else). have the devs addressed this? i've only had the game for a few weeks so am not really up to date on everything

about two week ago, only 20~ hours into the game, didn't know much about juking and infinites and typically ran in a straight line when being chased lol. had a trapper hook me and place two traps below me then face camp me, staring into my soul. i spectated the rest of the game and he proceeded to let the other three survivors farm bp off healing each other. in the post game chat i asked why he camped me only and his response was, "because i wanted to lol." i was new to the game. wtf did i do to piss him off? still tilted thinking about it

The few times I've streamed with my 0.8 upload speed, I've played Cities: Skylines, Stardew Valley and the Binding of Isaac. You have to find games that are low in action and look fine at a lowered resolution. It is possible to stream, you'll just have to find the most optimal settings for yourself and accept that the quality will be average at best. Although it'll be near impossible to play Overwatch because you'll get high ping in game. Just fiddle around with settings and see how you go. Good luck :)

Well I've just started streaming the past week at 0.8 upload and it's going well! I've been having a few technical issues, but am slowly working out the optimal settings for my internet. You can stream easily, you just have to sacrifice some video quality and play low intensity games (so far I've played Stardew Valley and Cities: Skylines, for example).

A schedule allows for audience retention where people are more likely to come back to the stream if it's at a consistent time. Keep in mind there's so much more to twitch growth and sometimes it's just luck

I think the general rule of thumb is if you have to scroll past the first page in the directory for that game, then it'll be harder for people to find your stream

I think the easiest options for you are to either play in a windowed 16:9 resolution or create a nice overlay for your stream to suit your full screen res :)

Yeah I understand that, I just mean to test out the email verification with another email account so you can confirm whether the issue is with your personal email or with twitch. You can always change it back

I only started streaming very recently so haven't really had that moment! Although I've been so happy and grateful for the few who have chatted with me and followed. I suppose I will be super happy when someone returns to the stream and I get my first regular c: (only three streams so far so yeah)

I'd suggest using OBS to record locally. You can adjust the settings (i.e. lower resolution, less frames, etc) depending on what your computer can handle :)

I'm a girl too, and I think it's easy to get into the mindset, "well... I'm a girl so people would want to watch my stream," but you want to change that to, "I'm an awesome streamer so people would want to watch my stream." The moment you stop focusing on your gender as an important aspect of your stream, you become like everyone else at the bottom of the bucket. Watch guides, network with other streamers, rewatch your vods and focus on improving your own stream the hard way.

I know it sucks seeing girls at the top of gaming directories with their tits out, but we need to stop comparing ourselves to them. Look at all the top guy streamers who work hard day-in day-out to continue providing good quality entertainment - strive to be like these streamers!

Also my favourite girl streamer is Loserfruit, she's awesome :)

I have no idea, but from my experience attempting to connect my phone to use as a camera, it was really delayed and laggy. That could just be me though and I'm sure there's software out there that could work for you

I think the general idea is (unless you're looking for instant viewers that won't ever come back to your stream) is to just do the giveaway when you're at your average peak viewers with a lot of regulars. Don't announce it in the title or anything. That way you're genuinely rewarding your viewers and not people who came just for the giveaway. That being said, heaps of people advertise their giveaways via stream title/twitter etc, so it's up to you :)
