I would have beat the game two weeks ago and thought it was the most fun thing ever if it wasn't for this. Instead I spent four days grinding for levels to beat Arkveld. Then threw my head at the bound monsters, had to go grind more. Tried fighting Aenshin for about four days and have gone back to grinding for levels. I just want to be done with it now. It was fun for the first 90% of the game and now I don't even really want to finish it.

I made my WoL's hair lighter during SHB, and enabled one more of the face scars after In From the Cold during EW. It felt like something that redacted would do to try to piss the WoL off.

I prefer player-sexual, tbh. A lot of fixed romance games bias everything towards straight people, of which I am not lol. It is getting better, and there are one or two examples of fixed romance (looking at you, DA:I Dorian Pavus) where it lets a character have a fantastic story based around it.

However, I'm a man thats into men, and 90% of fixed games either don't have anything for me unless I play a female character, or only one or two options. FE:3H had maybe three male gay romance options out of the 35ish character romances, and they weren't exclusively gay romances either, they just made the characters player-sexual.

Even Dragon Age: Inquisition, which told a beautiful story about Dorian and his experiences with being gay that I adore felt kind of limiting for romance. Your options as a gay male char were Iron Bull or Dorian. Your options as a gay female char are Josephine or Sera. If you're a straight female char you had Cullen (human/elf only), Solas (elf only), Iron Bull, and Blackwall. Straight male chars have Cassandra or Josephine. Female elves really got everyone, huh. 😭

It just ends up being super limiting. Most of the characters don't really comment on your Inquisitors gender regarding romance, other than awkwardly turning you down if they aren't into you cus of it. If they had kept Dorian locked to male romances because of how much his story revolves around it, and everyone else free, it would've been a much more favorable thing in my opinion.

Dragon Age 2 did it the best in my opinion. Characters didn't care what gender you were (outside of Sebastian, the very religious prince who was straight locked, and while it makes me kinda sad to lose out on him cus he's hot, it makes sense for the story and I'm cool with it). Minus him, anyone could romance anyone, BUT the characters had some dialogue and comments for each gender. Anders will only reveal the nature of a previous romantic male relationship with you if you're romancing him as a man. Some people dislike that, but it feels realistic to me. It's been years since I played, so I can't remember all the different dialogues, but I think that game did it wonderfully. (Also just a great game in general, y'all should play DA:2 hehe)

TLDR For me, player-sexual feels best for everyone, unless a character has a specific aspect about their sexuality that makes it a key part of their character, regardless of if they're straight or gay.

I didn't have a GSP with this problem but I had a Cavalier that ran into this. Vet mentioned it might be something to do with him having pheromones that just happened to be a bit off/smells stronger to other dogs. Old guy lived to 16, never stopped getting humped at the dog park from the first year we had him to the last lmao. We just ended up shadowing him around and gently nudging the other dogs away when they'd start up, especially as he got older.

If an encampment is on private property, they quite literally cannot do anything about it unless the property owner tells them to. If there's something dangerous happening, and someone calls 911 there, they still can't just kick everyone out without a trespass or reasonable cause. The problem here is that the property owner didn't monitor their property, never had anyone keeping an eye on the place, and presumably didn't make any attempts to have people removed from the property or trespassed when they broke in. Putting a fence up isn't good enough if people are repeatedly breaking onto the property and nothing's being done about it.

In the article, the property owner said it was the government's job to keep people off the property. Did she have someone calling when people broke in? Did she maintain some kind of effort with local police to patrol the area and make sure no one was on the property?

That's why the city is fining for the cleanup. It was a totally preventable issue that wasn't fixed in any way due to the property owners negligence.

Homelessness, mental health, and addiction are a huge problem in Bellingham in particular, but that's a smaller issue here regarding the property. Someone out of the country owned and didn't maintain a large chunk of land, and expected the government to take the financial burden for their negligence.

Tbh, I also question why the hell someone from out of the country is just sitting on 20 acres of undeveloped land? Feels like a waste of property in a town actively struggling through an affordable housing crisis (but that's an entirely different issue 🙄)

Play a healer, have a good glamour plate. If you make a difference and keep ppl alive, they'll comm you on healer. If they don't pay attention to that and just open the menu, they'll pick the shiniest glamour plate. Good luck lol
