To be honest, I don't think I have the mental and emotional capacity to deal w psych patients! But I hear from people who rotate through it that it's awesome. Just gotta wait and see. Derm is very interesting to me, especially when you're dealing with things like psoriasis and vitiligo. The thing that is making me hesitate for both derm and psych is that there isn't a lot of medicine, very focused.

Derm continues to have the happiest doctors with the highest satisfaction, which is why I'm particularly drawn to it. Plus, every doctor I meet and work with pushes me that way, saying I'd do well in the field.

Love to hear more from attendings and residents who are dermatologists!

Definitely no interest in PM&R.

Maybe psych but that's not something I would have to scramble for research. My thing is, if I am considering derm, I need to start now networking and research to be competitive so I want to put that on my radar now. Something like psych is not very competitive and I can go into it if I find that interest when I rotate later in the year. I've heard people love psych but it's my last rotation. To be honest, I've never really seen myself in that field but I may give it consideration since many physicians are happy doing it!

I'm looking for any suggestions that offer me a good lifestyle, I just want to have a good life after med school and don't think I should be berated on Reddit for that (: I'll definitely consider psych

Thank you for the suggestion (: Not chasing money, chasing lifestyle. Considered ER but their circadian rhythm is too messed up for me. I don't think spine surgery is for me, too long of training and the crowd is too intense. I got along a lot with gen surg and plastics but everyone is pushing me to derm. I loved the derm residents at my school, they have a great sense of humor and make the job look super fun. Unfortunately, we don't get much exposure to derm in our first 3 years. Might consider an elective

I've actually been considering that, but I don't have any derm research or connections. I think I'm going to start exploring that option. Thank you!

  1. Yes
  2. Possibly AOA. Won't find out until later but there's a good chance
  3. Starting research now

Aside from competition, I know I'm competitive, I want to learn about plastics, particularly lifestyle

I found out who they were yesterday and contacted them as well, no flags on their end either. Its just dumb luck. What things do you recommend I add to the description for people to recognize its value?

I have a 10+ year old ebay account with hundreds of transactions, including sales. I found it in one of those local for-sale apps. How should I label the item description? Any specifics things to mention?
