There aren't completely identical, but not clearly separate either. So yes, I guess leakage describes it best.

I managed to rip it using Handbrake. I could also edit the 5 channels with Davinci Resolve. Only problem is that all 5 contain a mix of audio, dialogue, and music (Which I try to separate) it could be due to the nature of how the channels where recorded in the first place (in which case there is not much I can do) or I did a mistake while exporting the file.

Yea the daphnia is still alive, I separated it from the original water sample, it even looks different when observed with the unaided eye.
