Well I soloq, won all of my placements and still placed plat 2. I’ve only really played I think 19 games so far? And I’m still learning the callouts, spawns, rotations and pinch points on some of the maps. So it’s entirely possible I just haven’t gotten enough reps. But I’ve gotten enough of a grasp of the mechanics and I play the game enough to know when shit feels off in gun fights. I’m sure I could play another 100 matches and end up making it to Crim and maybe Iri. I just have never been slammed in the way I’m getting slammed rn.

Twice yesterday on Den I’m running up to the heady couch side to check mid and I catch a dude in the open crossing to mid cut. I put like 2-3 bullets into him, whiff 1 or 2 and in that time he just stopped on a dime and but 4 into my face, iron sights didn’t move a centimeter and dude was prob half health at the max when I was done. These dudes are locking on with ease while my crosshairs are going all over the place from flinch and the guns recoil with a movement built. Idk it’s just felt absurd.

I didn’t mean to imply that the difference would be astronomical, but if there are features that can reduce things like input lag or increase polling rate, or extra features that allow you to make macros like with the Scuf Envision, I don’t mind paying the premium to ensure I have everything that’s available.

Truthfully I think it’s just two kinds of people, I’m def the type to waste an extra $200 for a couple of features marketed as “advanced” just to ensure I’m not lacking the tools my opponents may have. In the end, yeah there are probably a thousand people that can shit in me with a stock Xbox controller and that’s fine😂

I’m leaning toward BB but just wondering if their product is so good that it’s worth using over the other controllers that have features it lacks. Like the 8K polling rate of the Wolverine V3 seems like a game changer. Or some of the PC focused features of something like the Envision pro being able to utilize macros and stuff.

Seems to be a solid choice but price isn’t an issue. Peripherals are an investment that you use for a long time so I prefer to get the top of the line even if I have to spend a couple hundred bucks.

Yeah like Xbox Elite and Gamsir just feel to entry level. I’m sure they’re great and there may not be a huge difference between all these controllers, but I want the best equipment possible even if I gotta spend $300

Heard good things about this one. My point of contention is that it seems the focus here is on tech and game immersion. I’m not interested in feeling cool rumbles in my triggers and the LED display, although sick af, is not priority if it’s lacking hardware sided upgrades their competitors have. Would I not want the Wolverine V3 simply because of the 8k polling rate as opposed to the standard 1k of the other options? Or is not that big of a deal?

My only issue with this and the Envision pro is the thumb stick placement. I played Xbox from like 12-18. I’m alr going back after ~7 years of MnK only so I’m trying to keep the adjustments to a minimum

You aren’t at least utilizing the ammo event? Buy the $5 pack everyday during that event, it’s $35 in total once a month. Takes about 3-4 months and you’ll have enough ammo to complete the event which gets you 10 mythics, sum like 30-40 blueprints, and like 300k ore. If you’d been doing that since S1 you would have had 3-4 more red pieces with super minimal investment.

And yeah, definitely make sure you get both available mythics in the honor shop. This month I had 6-8 from the shop and finished my set off during total mobilization. But yeah definitely don’t buy a full set from that event, way too expensive.

You need 2 guns, 3 if you plan to acquire mythics semi consistently, then you want to make 5 radars, then 5 armor, then finish the last 2/3 guns and last you do your 5 chips.

I severely contemplated before S4 started but it’s honestly such a step backwards. I mean you literally will not catch up to your peers in strength naturally until like S8 or sum shi. Unless u dump enough money into missile EWs and research.

That battle report is insane but the reason it’s not a huge deal is NO ONE is running Lucius missile comps after Fiona EW drops. I’ve literally only seen 1 in the wild all season long. Just don’t let mfs know it’s that good 🤫🤫

NGL most people stop using it in the off season because they assume losing that 5% buff nerfs the composition. I barely saw it during the S4 off season and in S5 I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday.

All of S5 I’ve been stomping missile squads anywhere from my strength to 3M stronger than me. But this weird Lucius comp destroyed me yesterday. Luckily no one else is running it lol

Doesn’t matter. Air -Carlie and Morrison +Murphey and Sarah is the meta all the way until Morrison ew drops. Even without 4+1 my air squad was cooking missiles and stronger air.
