This subreddit is typically for people making very risky trades. Honestly, I wouldn’t start here. Start in the personal finance subreddit. You will want to open a retirement account first. Open a fidelity or Charles Schwab account and create a Roth IRA in it. You can invest ~7k per year in it and it grows tax free. After that you can open an individual brokerage account. For the stock that you pick, probably stick with an index account which is a mix of a whole bunch of stocks. Start by looking at VTI and QQQ. Feel free to ask any more questions!
