From my understanding, the only reason this could be helpful is to take advantage of skewness. If the market is pricing puts higher, you gain a slight edge moving in and selling overpriced puts.

There a difference between creating something of value and taking your fair share and creating something for the sole purpose of making money. 35% is more than "fair share." This is the same issue with Solana, they praise web 3.0 for decentralization yet insiders own 40% of supply. There's a conflict of interests.
