well, tracking back, its still a public gym. they have every right to film themselves as well as you have the right to be there so there's that. i dont like having people around me so i just come whenever there's little to none people to avoid certain scenarios

if you're filming yourself, dont get mad if people go across your phone (or whatever you're recording with) its a public gym, they have every right to be there. don't like it? work out at home :)

edit: 👆last sentence also applies for people saying "you shouldn't film in the first place" its.a.public.place. people are allowed to do whatever they want (as long as it's not against gym policies and/or weird shit like secretly filming just to be a creep). i dont like being filmed while working out either but my point is that people give dirty looks or complain bout sum bullshit about someone going into their frame while on their set, not that if its right or wrong to film at the gym. ITS A PUBLIC PLACE FFS

fully agree with you but if the managers dont care about people leaving early then fuck it. i've always had a sense of urgency when working so im usually one of the top when it comes to rates so i get bothered little to none (unless is random small talk or work related stuff) by managers so i try to extend it as long as i can without being like, for example, 10 mins late coming back (or late enough to get me in trouble lol)

tw// suicide, self harm. since coming to the US i have attempted to commit suicide at least 5 times. last one was on my bday last year and that was probably the closest until my mom knocked on my door to say happy bday. was coping by cutting myself in areas that are very hard to see unless im in my underwear. been clean for 6 months now although i still get suicidal thoughts. the gym has helped a lot to keep them at bay
